Which app? Does it have a FOSS/Linux alternative? Can it run through Proton/Wine?

Too late Microslope. I am already one app away ending dual boot and after that, never again.

Affinity Studio. I managed to run it in Fedora but it is glitchy and the performance after 2 hours of work is abysmal. I am testing the move to Figma and if it works, goodbye dual boot.

I saw an affinity Linux installer a few weeks ago. Maybe it works to install affinity. Photoshop is also compatible with Wine now. They got the installer working recently

Not him, but for me it was iTunes to put pirated music on my phone.
I managed with virtualbox and a win 11 vm.

Sideload Sidestore+LiveContainer, install EeveeSpotifyReborn, music solved unless you’ve got extremely eclectic tastes.

I’m stuck with Windows possibly forever or until maybe Valve manages to create a way for kernel based anti cheat to work on Linux, and also because of Clip Studio Paint.

I heard it’s possible, or at least an integrity check good enough that does basically the same thing, but not a rootkit. Anyway, turns out these companies just don’t like Linux, and want root privileges to your system.

Is it really worth your privacy and freedom just to play Fortnite or whatever?
