Too late Microslope. I am already one app away ending dual boot and after that, never again.

I’m stuck with Windows possibly forever or until maybe Valve manages to create a way for kernel based anti cheat to work on Linux, and also because of Clip Studio Paint.

I heard it’s possible, or at least an integrity check good enough that does basically the same thing, but not a rootkit. Anyway, turns out these companies just don’t like Linux, and want root privileges to your system.

Is it really worth your privacy and freedom just to play Fortnite or whatever?

Which app? Does it have a FOSS/Linux alternative? Can it run through Proton/Wine?

Affinity Studio. I managed to run it in Fedora but it is glitchy and the performance after 2 hours of work is abysmal. I am testing the move to Figma and if it works, goodbye dual boot.

Not him, but for me it was iTunes to put pirated music on my phone.
I managed with virtualbox and a win 11 vm.

I just updated Linux and Windows on different drives on the same laptop. Fedora took 2 minutes to download, reboot and install. Windows? 20 minutes.

Have they walked back copilot in notepad yet? That’s when I got fed up and switched, but I don’t go back now even if they do get rid of it.

What is this decision? They should just double down on the AI uselessness and tell the people that they’re all wrong, that’s what a strong company would do!
Don’t give up now Microsoft, you can do it!
