  Why does it seem like there is a disproportionate amount of tall men ending up in relationships with short women?

  The dick looks bigger next to a smaller person and you feel more powerful being able to move such a small person around so easily in bed. Gay men have bears and twinks. This isnt just a heterosexual thing. I would know.

  I always figured it was nature trying not to breed us into a race of giants, or midgets. I’m a lady and about the average height of men in my area (which my husband points out puts me in the top 5% of women’s height here even though I’m barely even tall) and mostly have dated men around my height. My ex was about my height and our kids were all average height. Husband also around my height. My husband’s ex was a lot shorter than him and his boys are not as tall as me, and I tease him, if he wanted tall kids he needed a tall mom.

  So I guess if she had her kids with a tall guy they would have been average height but I never had to think about that, right? But if my kids dad had been really tall my kids would be like Really Tall, maybe more than is healthy?

  I know nobody is having kids anymore, lol, but the preferences could be hard wired to some extent.

  Also - if only 5% of women are my height or taller, there probably just aren’t enough of us around even if we wanted to breed giants.

  Oh man, I’m giving up on this thread. I seriously don’t know how I could more clearly explain what I’m talking about. I even edited my main comment to no avail. I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT TALL MEN SIMPLY DATING SHORTER WOMEN, my gf is 20cm shorter too. I quite literally meant child-height in relativity.

    That’s stupid then, no offense. The height of children ranges greatly just like the height of adults there’s considerable overlap.

    It isn’t something clearly defined, there are no stupid questions but your question is stupid.

      I don’t need a definition of a children’s height to have average image of their height and feel disgust when I see grown ass man or tall dude with one that next to him makes me wonder if that’s their child or wife

        You can have stupid feelings, especially once they concern how you treat others. There’s a big difference between “idk why, but I really like cherry flavored ice cream” and “idk why, but these people make me feel uncomfortable”, because the latter opens you up to treating others with prejudice.

        It’s your job to wrestle with them and make sure your feelings are justified, or to change your mind.
