I really don’t like Dbrand as a company, their marketing is so obnoxious.
Comment on ‘As usual, we do what Nintendon’t’: Peripheral firm ‘fixes’ Switch 2’s new Joy-Cons

to save you a click: the “problem” that was “fixed” is that the new joycons weren’t colorful enough. so dbrand (the “peripheral firm”) made decals with more prominent colors.

They do seem to have quality products though. Got a Steamdeck skin you call it from them and it fit really well.
Will however never order again because the import tax I paid on it was ridiculuous, not dbrands fault, I just hadn’t ordered anything from US for a while… and now won’t anymore.thatKamGuy@sh.itjust.works 1 day ago
I thought they were Canadian, though? Weird…

Ah damn, you are probably right about that.

The D in Dbrand stands for “douche.”

Their entirely social media presence is pathetic and their products are poor quality. They only exist because they throw money at marketing.

I agree with the fact that they aren’t a great company, but anyone who’s shopped around for skins/decals knows that dbrand is a cut above the rest in terms of quality. I’ve stopped buying from them due to how they run things, though.

So, none of the actual, very real problems with them? Great, very helpful.
