  every latino person i know is highly educated and naturalized, so no they are not worried. they also live in very expensive areas where there is no ICE and they dont’ give rats ass about illegal immigrants being deported. they are for it.

        Nothing gets better and it haven’t been getting better for a long time. I’ve watching every warning about the rise of fascism get ignored since Bush II and everything bad that could be happening, is happening.

        I didn’t say I thought he would take over Canada. I said I’m annoyed that my grandmother thinks it’s funny to tell me he will and that I’m stressed by people willingly travellings to the states where I believe they could be in danger as non-americans visiting the states

    You know the administration wants to denaturalize naturalized citizens, right? And ICE has been detaining natural born citizens while claiming their identification is fake? I don’t know for sure a born citizen has been sent away to a foreign prison, but it seems likely. And that’s another thing, sending people to a foreign prison is different than just deporting them to where they came from.

      yeah and? that’s their prerogative. the american people voted this guy in, he is acting according to the platform on which he was elected.

      just because you don’t agree with it, doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. and frankly you have no voting power anyway, so your opinion is irrelevant other than you getting high on your own righteousness?

      i voted against Trump. I wish the Democrats had half the balls he does. Evil or not, he is actually trying to change this country and deal with problems that have been festering for decades. Sucks that he is so shitty and heavy handed about it, but it had to happen sooner or later. I don’t think Kamala would have done a much of a better job on immigration policy, porbably just continued to kick the can down the road and pretend it wasn’t an issue.

      Unlike you, I am not doom and gloom about any of this. Hopefully the democrats will actually have a coherent response/policy to these things and persuade the american people to try something different.
