Every one is just subsidizing the data center with their electrical, water, etc… Bill.

If the main effect of allowing them nearby is your electric bill going up it seems reasonable to not want them.

And they’re crazy loud. Some days, it’s a constany 100+ decibels of sound around nearby homes due to the cooling systems.

More important than that, the power plants that run them are often heavily polluting, and tend to be in low-income, predominately black neighborhoods. So AI is giving poor kids cancer.
