Has PETA ever asked lettuce if it gave consent to being eaten?
I mean, I’m all for a decreased consumption of meat, but PETA’s methods don’t work.

PETA = People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

And PETA is soooooo ethical in their own treatment of animals. All of their shelters are no-kill shelters, right? Right?!

I’m not arguing for or against PETA, just pointing out that your lettuce comment should be addressed to PETV.

Good point 😊

Saying “PETA kills dogs” to defend the meat industry is just a scale mismatch. PETA euthanizes a few thousand mostly sick or unadoptable animals. The meat and dairy industry breeds and kills billions of animals every year—many of whom are unhealthy because they’re bred for extreme production. Even if you dislike PETA, it’s not remotely comparable.

there are only about 1.5 billion cattle in the world. why would you lie about something so easy to find the truth

Doing what’s best for an animal doesnt always mean keep it alive at all costs, you realize this right?
Do some research about their programs before you spout some nonsense.

Have you ever looked into the details of their shelters?
