As with most stereotypes the amount people eat like you describe is overstated for humourous effect, as is often the case it’s a question of how frequently one over indulges. Eating at a buffet occasionally is delicious. Eating at a buffet regularly is bad.

I’m not American, but here’s what I know about them.
They’ll put chocolate on everything, ranch with everything, deep fry everything (but jot at home bc they can’t cook), put coffee in their melted icecream

You can totally deep fry at home with a Fry Daddy. My experience is that no food is worse deep fried and some foods are substantially better. Saltines? Not worse. Bacon? A bit better.

I’m willing to give you 1 out of 3. No we do not put chocolate on everything. No we do not put ranch on everything, but some unhealthy individuals put it on every vegetable. Yes we deep fry everything and goddamn does it taste good.
