Disney supposedly acted on their own outside of any statements made by the FCC, as Iger reportedly met with Kimmel and told him to make a statement on the next show to “calm the situation down”, but Kimmel refused, saying that he was going to double down and attack “MAGA” even more. Because of this they chose to indefinitely suspend his show.
