I’ll agree to start imprisoning people for using their job to affect profit when CEOs start getting jailed for affecting the profit of those laid off.
- Comment on HR people smiling at you thinking that you are a complete moron 1 week ago:
Depends on the state but basically they have to prove it was for cause. You being late nonstop and being fired? No UE. You getting fired for “no call no show” when you ha e the phone records to prove you called in and you have no disciplinary record? You’ll get UE.
I got “fired” once in my life right before a big round of layoffs for the above reason. This was in TX so my UE got denied right out of the gate but when I appealed the company didn’t even bother showing up.
It was a pretty slam dunk case of them reaching and pulling shit out of their ass so I won the appeal.
Always appeal, especially in republican states where they default to siding with the companies.

I don’t think he needs a winning argument. I think EA needs to justify this kernel level AC, not the other way around.
- Comment on Nexon-owned game studio enters “indefinite strike” over employee bonuses allegedly being slashed while executive bonuses increased - AUTOMATON WEST 2 weeks ago:
As it stands that would functionally outlaw them.
Which is fucking good.
Most executive ideas are short term idiocy. The rest of their “good ideas” aren’t because they’re soooo smart only they could have thought of them; its just that everyone else is a better person and not a fucking parasite and wouldn’t consider doing them for profit.
- Comment on If CEOs think they can replace everyone with AI, why do they think Wall St. will need CEOs? 2 weeks ago:
Hey thats not true. You’d also have to feed them a prompt about how they can space out enacting a fucking idiotic idea over 6 meetings.
- Comment on If CEOs think they can replace everyone with AI, why do they think Wall St. will need CEOs? 2 weeks ago:
Because CEO is a complete bullshit job that works as a de facto caste system like 90% of management roles.
If they actually added any value and thats why they were hired? Sure, be scared. They’re not hired to add value though, so they’re not.

- Comment on ICE agents pointed guns at a US citizen when she walked out on to her yard to ask why they were arresting her (legal immigrant) partner. 2 weeks ago:
Dude everyone should be armed. You dont know who these people are. Im not letting human traffickers get at my kids or wife just because ICE doesnt want to ID themselves. Fuck them and that.
- Comment on Y'ALL GOT ANY OF THEM HALLOPINERS 3 weeks ago:
I used to spend a lot of time in this area (years and years ago) and the guy did indeed write it up to grab people’s attention.
- Comment on Y'ALL GOT ANY OF THEM HALLOPINERS 3 weeks ago:
I know the exact spot this is from years ago. Its just north of a little town called Lindale (North of Tyler, south of Mineola).
Dudes hallopinos were actually pretty legit. He also had the sign misspelled so poorly because it “gets people’s attention and makes em laugh”.

The only site I ever felt comfortable scanning shit like that into was a site that sold things only to military/medics/fire fighters so I had to upload my medic license and my FF cert.
Anything beyond that is a no go from me.
- Comment on We wouldn’t need the Epstein files to prove DJT’s guilt if society just trusted women in the first place. 4 weeks ago:
I don’t think anyone is going to argue against that. You asked for people to name one time a life was ruined by false accusations. There’s been a ton.

Are we really saying any group of people are infallible and incapable of lying?
Don’t get me wrong, I believe the majority of rape accusations aren’t false accusations with a sinister motive. I believe Trump is a rapist.
We should never act like any group of people will never lie, and we absolutely should never compromise on due process.

I mean my desire to buy a switch was killed after reading all of this. I would have loved to finally get back into Zelda games (I would say Pokémon but they’ve seemed to be ass now) but I certainly ain’t supporting this for Zelda. Lol

On the one hand its dumb that people only give a shit about the CEOs wife given the HR lady is married too.
On the other hand, maybe its for the best at least one of the spouses is getting to fly under the radar.
- Comment on Gallium 5 weeks ago:
I mean do CEOs ever actually take responsibility? Between the golden parachutes and increased salaries no matter how the company is doing, no one should be surprised by this abominations behaviour.
- Comment on Gallium 5 weeks ago:
I mean theyre both married. Not sure why you’re focusing on just the one piece of shit.

- Comment on Microplastics will be the "boomers all have lead poisoning" of millennials 1 month ago:
Most likely its the same reason blood donation lowers microplastic levels in blood. Production of new cells that aren’t tainted with it. A woman’s blood volume increases by 40% during pregnancy. Of course ill freely admit thats just a hypothesis and you’re probably right, there would be benefit into studying it.

- Comment on Star Wars is an ode to the stupidest use of battle lasers 1 month ago:
I mean… they do take pause when a Mandalorian is shooting. They make block lasers but putting a lightsaber in front of a slug 6 inches from your face just turns you into Swiss cheese.
Also, their flamethrowers. A lot of mandalorian weapons were utilized solely to counter force users.
