    Once I asked the same on an nsfw subreddit and the responder told me that, its something that is not shown in a general sense like hands. Something that isn’t readily seen in a human body becomes elusive and over time sexualized. Its like tits and ass.

    Women in some tribes in Africa don’t cover their tits, thus men in there don’t over sexualize it.
