Here in Sweden I’ve noticed a surprisingly high amount of older men with younger asian wives. It always made me uncomfortable.
sweden is pathetic. really. dunno where to start…but to me sweden is the joke of scandinavia. an endless list of being stupid. is the sex king still in office keeping the masquerade alive? covid, cash in crisis, inclusion of migrants, that entire spotify scam with their AI trash.

You should get cash for reasons that are obvious to anyone with two brain cells: if there is a blackout or cyber attack or failure of the internet, you can still pay by cash. The fact that people don’t use cash now is irrelevant. Nobody sits at candlelight listening to a battery powered radio right now either.

It’s a big impact on the economy though normally we’d be talking about workers in richer countries, not people just living off their wealthy new spouses. With workers it benefits both countries economically.

One of my friends is married to a Chinese woman only two years his junior, but because she, like most Asian women, looks a lot younger than her European contemporaries he still gets lots of dirty looks and untoward comments from judgy fucks who think it’s any of their fucking business.
