The Dallas Zoo McDonald’s was mildly famous, I’d guess regionally at worst only in Texas, as being a time capsule. It was wacky and zoo themed.
People used to rave about it. Now people complain about it. Likely, more people engaged it by driving by and saying “wait, is that a McDonald’s?” and corporate wasn’t having it.

And I was downvoted for not knowing about an obscure McDonalds, by a zoo, in bumfuck Texas, and the regional and cultural and historical context surrounding that, and the poster above was upvoted for saying that “everyone” knows it from their school trip, as if the entire population of earth lives in Dallas, Texas, USA, North America?
