Friday the 13th you go around camp Crystal lake, trying to find children in cabins before Jason gets them. Occasionally you have to fight him as in the picture, or on a 2d plane if you run into him outside the cabins.
Elm Street you run around the neighbourhood going into different houses, I think the goal is trying to find pieces of Freddy so you can destroy him, but I’ve not played it as much so can’t really remember very well.

The only other horror game I remember on NES was Halloween. I might just be confusing Micheal for Jason since they look pretty similar in pixel form. Then again, my memory mixes shit a lot, too, and I could just be conflagrating Home Alone with something else. 😔
