If you use arch you have to start knitting
And with Gentoo you have to spin your own yarn before the knitting 😁
And with LFS, you need to breed, raise the sheep and then shear them yourself before you get to spin and knit the socks…
But you can tune the specifications of the yarn to theoretically make the socks 2% more comfy. In practice your tuning efforts will make the socks less comfortable and tear more easily.
