Sometimes his last name is rendered Barebon or Barebone; because Benjamin Franklin hadn’t invented spelling yet. Nicholas Barbon’s middle name was apparently “If-Jesus-Christ-had-not-died-for-thee-thou-hasdst-been-damned”.
His dad’s name was Praise-God Barbon.
