The man credited with inventing the mortgage was 15th century Englishman Nicholas Barbon. Sometimes his last name is rendered Barebon or Barebone; because Benjamin Franklin hadn’t invented spelling yet. Nicholas Barbon’s middle name was apparently “If-Jesus-Christ-had-not-died-for-thee-thou-hasdst-been-damned”.
His dad’s name was Praise-God Barbon.

Considering that her dad married his niece, and that her dad’s great-great-grandparents were all the same two people, her name is one of the last weird things about her family.
Fair play to Cleo VII; she introduced more fresh genes into her family bloodline than anyone had in generations. Four kids by two dads, you go girl.
