one thing i found that helps the size are these rubber bumpers you can stick onto the sides. somebody mentioned them to me, they’re available on amazon and not expensive.
- Comment on The Magic Keyboard and Mouse now use USB-C! 2 weeks ago:
i bought one and ended up going back to my magic mouse. i use mostly magic mice, but i did finally figure out why i have such a strange mouse preference. it’s the weight. so i bought a really lightweight razer mouse, and i enjoy using that.
it also charges on the bottom!

history is not science. I’m struggling to see how flags can be scientific whatsoever. but i am autistic

I’m glad there’s still a place left for us old curmudgeons that isn’t overrun by normies yet. i saw somebody suggest hosting things on tor, just for the purpose of keeping normies away from it. hilarious but probably would work great!

- Comment on Cyborg: A Documentary – new film about first upgraded human asks whether we should just because we can. 1 month ago:
yep, same here except i think power-source makes a slight difference to the degree of cyborginess. maybe we need a scale. maybe something like:
- caveman with tools, self-powered
- ancient person using naturalistic propulsion methods (wind, animals) for vehicles (ships, chariots) etc
- engine (steam, electric, gas) powered entities (vehicles, factories, aircraft)
- direct nervous system integration for thought-based control
- shared consciousness
