It’s literally a toggle in the settings under apple intelligence
- Comment on New mobile features are sh*t these days 3 weeks ago:
1 I use my phone as a remote for my tv and it’ll sit there and spin on my pixel 8 iPhone loads right up
2 I have a lot of Bluetooth devices and my pixel doesn’t like to auto connect past the recent 5 devices my iPhone connects immediately to any of them any time
3 so far Siri with apple intelligence ( dev beta ) has given me significantly better responses then hey google has
4 camera in some apps is just slow on the pixel but they all are flawless on iPhone
And that’s not to say I hate my pixel I carry both phones if I have to run adb commands at my job I can do it easily off my pixel but things that my iPhone can do it does do better at least for me

Coming from a pixel guy who recently bought a 16 pro apps just plain don’t work as well like even google apps run better but that’s not to say they are bad on android things “just work” sometimes on iOS
- Comment on Devs gaining little (if anything) from AI coding assistants 1 month ago:
Garbage in garbage out is how they all work if you give it a well defined prompt you can get exactly what you want out of it most of the time but if you just say fix this problem it’ll just fix the problem ignoring everything else

It is so much better I switched to a 36 key split ortho keyboard(draculad) with colemak and layers to reach keys farther then 1 key away normally it feels amazing

- Comment on Google is discontinuing the Chromecast line 3 months ago:
I don’t like google as much as the next person but they haven’t made just Chromecasts for awhile now they have just been Google tv boxes so it’s basically just a rebrand to increase price with the same features and hopefully better specs at least

You can get a inline 5 in it cause I know you can fit a o7k or a vr6 lol. my plan was to swap it to a TDI I actually have an 01 TDI sitting here for it just don’t have the money currently to finish it but once i do, this TDI is actually supped up some pushing 20+ psi of boost not the I will probably run that much since I plan to daily it but it can

Oh yea it’s a straight pipe diesel ain’t anything good for the environment gonna put a slightly more modern engine in it at some point for some more power the 1.6l in it currently only makes like 50 horse so when I do that it’ll be a little better but still not great

And this is why I drive a 1980 Volkswagen rabbit pickup. better gas mileage then modern cars (50mpg+ on the highway) I can replace about any part in it for under a few hundred in most cases even a new engine can be done under 1000. And everything is dead simple to work on no fancy computers or anything.

You still end up with the same problem of no power for locks when it turns off the battery

That’s not the point the fact is that there is some dumbass that probably will let it sit at 0% and kill the battery
- Comment on Arizona toddler rescued after getting trapped in a Tesla with a dead battery | The Model Y’s 12-volt battery, which powers things like the doors and windows, died 4 months ago:
You don’t want to fully drain the main battery as it would do severe damage to it and most of the 12v system has a phantom draw of power so to keep the main battery from running out they have a separate one
