According to your comment the solution seems to be keeping the status quo where a single company has that much power. This mega corporation power shit needs to stop, no matter what. The naming is the least issue. We’re heading towards a dystopian cyberpunk future and no one seems to give a fuck.

- Comment on Unity apologises. 1 year ago:
Developers remain critical of this latest statement from Unity. “There wasn’t any ‘confusion’,” said Trent Kusters of Jumplight Odyssey studio League of Geeks. “In fact, the exact opposite is the concerning issue here; That we all, very clearly, understood the devastating impact and anti-developer sentiment of your new pricing model far better than you ever did (or cared to) before rolling it out.”

- Comment on Apple says it will remove services such as FaceTime and iMessage from the UK rather than weaken security if new proposals are made law and acted upon. 1 year ago:
I’m not even an Apple user but somehow I still feel like Apple are one of the very last companies where privacy and the security of your data is more worth than a dime.
- Comment on TikTok is the most popular news source for 12 to 15-year-olds, says Ofcom 1 year ago:
My kids are 3 and 4. I have no idea if TikTok is still relevant when they’re 14, but if not I’m sure there will be something else equally suspicious and toxic like TikTok is now. I hope I can teach them how to look at this stuff with its self esteem crushing and political aspects.
