yeah, nobody knows. but (un)fortunately “he isn’t able to put together coherent sentence, but maybe he isn’t going to die tomorrow” is not qualification for presidential office.
- Comment on What happens if Biden dies before the next inauguration (see inside)? 18 hours ago:
good for her. i assume she didn’t run for a president.

I saw a person who couldn’t believe the bullshit being said by a narcissistic moron. I would have the same look at my face in disbelief
that’s really not an argument in biden’s favor.
he has known trump for at least 9 years and he has been lying narcissistic moron that whole time. if he didn’t expect the most expectable thing in the world from him, and being surprised threw him off the rails in such manner that he wasn’t able to put together coherent sentence, how is he qualified for a job where there are actual surprises of enormous consequences on a daily basis?

i meant error in facts, not your inability to understand topic of the discussion (this isn’t discussion about policy), or the fact that i am not an american, so i am not voting for anything in us elections.
- Comment on What happens if Biden dies before the next inauguration (see inside)? 1 day ago:
i am not an american, but i can confirm for you that you seem significantly dumb to me.
if you see an error in any fact i stated, please point it out. i can’t do anything about your emotions…
- Comment on What happens if Biden dies before the next inauguration (see inside)? 1 day ago:
he may. but the last debate strongly suggest otherwise. someone asked why are people focused on biden’s age and this is why.
- Comment on What happens if Biden dies before the next inauguration (see inside)? 1 day ago:
And apparently that matters more than the blatant lies and non-answers coming from the other side.
yes, for estimates whether someone dies from old age, that matters significantly more than someone lying.
- Comment on What happens if Biden dies before the next inauguration (see inside)? 1 day ago:
Why does everyone seem to think Biden is the one who will die first.
because we recently saw them in televised debate and one of them looked in significantly worse shape than the other.
- Comment on Would America be as divided if Trump lost to Hillary in 2016? 1 day ago:
trump is just a symptom of underlying problem in society that manifests itself all over the world.
populist politicians trying to appeal to nostalgy for “good old times”, ability to weaponize social media and craft customized lies to every minor group, russian bot networks spewing out propaganda… it is something that creates problems everywhere and it will not get better.
recent eu parliament elections are shining example.

and that’s missing the fact that the kidnapper usually doesn’t leave a business card behind, so he wouldn’t have clue who to kill 😂

Go to uber recruitment center, tell them you don’t have a car or bussines licence and ask if they can do something for you. See what happens.
- Comment on Everything old is new again. 1 week ago:
That’s a relatively new phenomenon
that’s definitely going on for at least 5 years
I was merely providing an example of why Uber gained adoption early on.
ok, from that point of view it definitely makes sense
- Comment on Everything old is new again. 1 week ago:
The fact that they would actually show up.
unless you see the uber car circling around you on the map, then canceling the ride and cashing in the “cancelation fee”
The dispatcher would tell you someone will be there in 20 minutes and, if you were lucky, somebody might show up in 45. Before Uber, there was more than one occasion where I ended up stranded downtown until 4 or 5am after the bars had closed at 3:00.
yeah, but this is not an invention of uber. it is just that technology allowed what was not possible before. yes, uber was faster to adapt it than traditional taxi industry, but they are not doing it for your blue eyes, they are doing it for profit and they do lot of shady stuff to achieve it.
- Comment on Everything old is new again. 1 week ago:
where do you think the drivers who don’t even speak the language and are not really similar to the face on the licence are getting the cars?
it is just that instead of exploiting them working in construction industry, they now exploit them behind the wheel.

I’m not based in the US, this is all so alien to me.
neither am i, but i for sure have read a lot about how religious fanatics harass and attack abortion clinics and their clients, this is exactly the same…

i would guess these would be last. the garbage cans are not on the highway, they are in potentially hard accessible places, where some maneuvering and judgement may be required.

oh my. the… motorized pedestrian truck driver klaus. haven’t seen this gem in some time.

Have you heard of “pedestrian controlled” trucks
they are called forklifts and they are around for quite some time now 😆
- Comment on Tractor-trailers with no one aboard? The future is near for self-driving trucks on US roads 2 months ago:
point A and B are already known for each route, so more of the route could be “hardcoded”
yeah, and it is all good until there is any kind of non-standard situation on that road.
luckily for truckers, i think that truly self-driving cars are further into the future than their proponents would like you to believe.

this is (wants to be) commercial service operated by private business and has no relation to your government and how it handles healthcare.
- Comment on Bark Air, a new luxury airline for dogs, launching flights in May 2 months ago:
Why I think this is dystopian: the rich are spending their money to fly their pets on private jets instead of, I don’t know
the rich are already spending their money on flying their pets private; this article is about scheduled service, which is exact opposite of private flying.
putting your dog into cargo space of an airplane is a lottery that may not end well: there have been stories where the dog was left on tarmac in extreme temperatures and died from overheating, even when its owner paid some premium package that promised to handle the dog with extra care, for example.
so while we should definitely think twice if we need to use the airplane for a week long vacation we will spend drinking margaritas by the hotel pool, if i were offered a job across the ocean, being able to get my dog with me and being sure he survives the trip would be a deal-breaker for me.
what is notable here is it seems to me that at this point it is project that exists in a dream of some marketing expert who knows more about hipster bulls…t than dogs, so we will have to wait if the service actually lifts off the ground to see how it looks in reality.
from the article:
Before boarding, dogs will be treated to calming pheromones, music and colors they like best.
right, dog’s favorite color… 😂
