I’m a squirrel. The german word for squirrel is Eichhörnchen, which is hard to pronounce for english speakers. The english word for Eichhörnchen is squirrel, which is hard to pronounce for german speakers. And I think that’s beautiful :)

Team Scheiße and Brutale Gruppe 5000 (German) and Clowns (Australian) are the first ones that come to mind.

It’s nice that we have the Threadiverse now. And some projects run their own Discourse forum. We can still run our own stuff.

Yes, I specifically miss the untroubled joy of discovering new music. Nowadays I have to check when it was released (< 2022), check how often the artist puts out new music (multiple albums per year could be done by a human, but it’s unlikely), check the biography and search for more info about the artist (have they played concerts etc.), just to confirm that the music or the whole artist isn’t AI generated.
Before, it was just “Oh, I like this music”. It was beautiful and simple.

I got the Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy on GOG. I played some of the games when they were available on Stadia, but I don’t remember much so I’ll play them again. Heroic Launcher makes it very easy to play them on Linux.

If they line up their pieces right, it might just disappear.

Continuing my first ever Portal 2 playthrough. Currently I’m stuck, but I’m motivated to try again. There has to be a way to get through this level. And I want to do it without searching for solutions online.

- Comment on 1 year into navidrome with dilligent tagging and rating, and this is how someone has the perfect theme song when they walk into a room, everytime. 2 months ago:
Thanks for mentioning all the software you use. I just started filling up my library for navidrome and haven’t gotten to plugins yet. Spindle looks very good.
Ratings wouldn’t work for me, because I listen to completely different music at different times of the day. I can’t stand loud, aggressive music in the morning so I listen to Jazz/Soul/Instrumental Hip Hop beats/Classic Piano. At noon I would be bored by the music I listen to in the morning, time for Hardcore/Punk/Japanese Metal/Hyperpop/DnB/anything goes. A noon song would receive 1 star in the morning and vise versa.

I’m going to play some Steamworld Build because a kind Lemming gifted me a key :) I played it years ago on a different platform, but it was early and had a lot of bugs iirc. I heard it got better.
I also got Portal 2 on sale for 2€. Good times.
