Man whose finances are reliant on scheme’s success really wishes you’d all stop talking about downsides of scheme, more at 11

AI spam and not relevant. American politics are inescapable on the fediverse. Typical of Americans though I suppose, always the loudest voice in the room.

You should post this to that pudu community!
- Comment on Why is kissing? 2 weeks ago:
Too right. And hey, if the food has already been pre-chewed, that’s fewer calories I have to expend chewing it. And I get to neck off wiv a well fit bird or lad to boot, that’s a win-win innit
- Comment on Why is kissing? 2 weeks ago:
I do it because groceries are expensive and I like to try and pick bits of food off people’s teeth with my tongue. You’d be surprised at how much food is in there sometimes! Found a whole popcorn kernel in my boyfriend’s mouth just yesterday.
- Comment on Its so transparently disgusting how ICE is occupying northern states where illegal immigration is hardly an issue. The aberration of slavery has never gone away in the USA. 2 weeks ago:
Oh right, lol. Yeah I don’t usually read the comments of shitposts, which is part of why I commented; it seems so weird to have serious discussion about slavery in this community. Almost like, disrespectful? And either way, that aside, it’s just totally not what you expect upon opening a shitpost community.

Okay man, I just thought it seemed a bit weird to post something so serious and seemingly inviting of discussion in a place that seems like it’s looking for jokes

It won’t be, obviously. Some money will change hands, and it’ll all be forgotten about. No consequences for the wealthy.

I was picturing, like, a French croissant, a big pastry thing, with a Cumberland sausage inside 😂 I’ve never heard of Pillsbury, looks good tho!
Yeah you’re right, those seeds look like sesame
- Comment on Unquestionably high class 3 weeks ago:
Oh wow, that’s totally not what I was picturing actually! What are the seeds? Is the croissant sweet?
- Comment on Unquestionably high class 3 weeks ago:
A hot dog in a croissant? That’s wild, I didn’t realise pigs in blankets were different around the world (presumably you’re not in the UK?). In England, pigs in blankets are little sausages wrapped in bacon!

- Comment on Is there a "buy nothing" community on Lemmy? Or an anti-consumerism comm? 4 weeks ago:
No, but that sounds really interesting. I’ve long been frustrated by rampant consumerism, and not just that but also by how blatantly companies will shaft consumers on quality, size, functionality… A laundry list of ways to make their products worse because it nets them a tiny saving per product which all adds up to a new megayacht. Nickle and diming bastards!

I honestly thought this was a joke about this character specifically. It didn’t come off as “dumb woman annoying” to me, it came off as an in-joke about how this character.
