- Comment on Windows users keep losing files to OneDrive, and many don't know why 1 week ago:
I hold the middle ground. When set up properly, the services do tend to work just fine when left alone. Consumers often have automatic updates enabled, that is where shit hits the fan sometimes. I have had the issue of files disappearing. Fortunately, they reappeared some time after. Not sure what Microsoft was doing – we will never know.
- Comment on Europe has ‘lost the internet’, warns Belgium’s cyber security chief 2 weeks ago:
I mean, this unit is Belgian. Here in the Netherlands our southern neighbors are (lovingly) said to be… uh, well… how do I say it? Slightly less wrinklybrained. :p
Jokes aside: This assessment is probably realistic at this very moment; we still very much rely on the USAians for many cloud and AI services. EU is making quite an effort to localize though. Fairly certain the reliance will much decrease. At the same time, it is not realistic to assume we will be able to match the level of technological advancement overseas. Honestly, one might wonder if this is required.
Fairly certain we will be just fine in the long run.

Yes. I guess it does depend on the pet a little bit – the ants in your ant farm probably cannot. ;)

You comment writing is a bit rambling, probably a fast and motivated brain – good! Make sure you keep an eye on tone and pace.

Perhaps I have imagined it too, then, for it feels very familiar. Do go on, I am willing to be your editor, when time etc. permits. Engage! ;)
- Comment on I have An Idea for A Better Space, SciFi, Exploration Entertainment, Than Even ‘Star Trek’. 3 weeks ago:
Better is subjective. What you describe could well be one of the factions in the Star Trek universe. You are telling a story from a slightly different perspective – an even more nonviolent one.
A good question to answer may be: What will make your story engaging to us all, in an age where so many stories have been told in so many ways?
- Comment on Is there a real, actually working way to earn money online without having a job? 4 weeks ago:
Not really. You can either gamble (which is a terrible idea) or be a criminal (even worse). I have read about some apps/sites where you can do minor tasks for tiny amounts of money, cannot imagine those are worth your time.
Learn to create something meaningful, something people value, and sell it. That is sort of a job, or a hobby turned into a source of income. Depends on how you choose to frame it.

Nobody should like violence. Unfortunately, this world still requires some every now and then. :(

- Comment on its a psyop, isn't it? 2 months ago:
Excellent general rules; culture provides differences.
Take some time to consider how the other party is feeling, empathize, use your senses. If you have trouble doing so, use your imagination. Link behavioral traits to emotions. Behave accordingly. Feel it out.
For many people, all of this comes natural. The others can learn by reading the cues and responses. It is hard work, yet valuable as it allows you to connect on a different level.
We are complex creatures.

Yeah, you are correct. There are several reasons. :)

What is really impressive, is how people in this day and age of connection, are still able to be so out of touch.

- Comment on When we eat the billionaires, we should spare Gabe Newell? No? 2 months ago:
If I am not mistaken, Steam is one of the highest paid companies in the world, if not the. Perhaps still not fair relative to contribution, yet exemplary compared to the rest.
I do believe that Gabe is one of the better/more benevolent winners of an inherently unfair and now definitely broken system.

Depends a bit on the player, though you do make a solid point. It is also a matter of preference, of course.

Thank you, do not need to try it, as the view has been presented before… You are missing the gist of my message. I am talking about controlling someone, which should instead “be” someone.

Uhh… I am sorry. What you said means nothing to me.
We all live in this world, yes. Society is unavoidable. However, you can choose to what extent you engage with it. There is a minimum, stop using tech ~ go out into the world and meet people, create physical things etc. – nobody will stop you when you act with integrity and love.

Have no idea who that is. However, what is the worst that could happen? Variation is interesting!
- Comment on 2 months ago:
Looks cool. The third person perspective is much overrated in my opinion; controlling a person is not a good lesson to learn – being one, is.
