It’s invasive when it’s introduced by humans and outcompetes the native inhabitants. Which disrupts naturally occurring ecosystems.
Kudzu is an example. It’s native to Asia, but it’s a fast growing vine that does very well in the climate where I live. I was told it was originally brought over to help keep soil in place after construction work. Issue is that it’s wild now, and it outcompetes basically everything else so you end up with huge swaths of just kudzu. It’s a creeping vine that will literally cover a football field of forest, and strangle every tree there to death. Which ruins that habitat for fauna- squirrels can’t navigate it properly, birds don’t have trees to nest in anymore, etc.
So, yeah, the concept of an invasive species is entirely human made because it’s a thing caused by humans.
Basically, it’s usually considered invasive when it is brought to a new place by humans, and then takes entirely too well to the new place- usually because it doesn’t have any natural predators to keep it in check.

No clue. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was technically outside of hearing safe, but it’s not actively uncomfortable to shoot. It’s a single shot bolt action so I’m not gonna do long term hearing damage fast lol.

Ehhh, you probably could if you weren’t extremely close and it was the right firearm.
There’s a lot of variation between different guns when it comes to volume- even the same caliber can be dramatically quieter out of a long barrel. I own a .22lr rifle that’s entirely fine to shoot without ear protection, and a .22lr revolver that’s definitely not fine to shoot without ear protection.
What I’m getting at is 12ga is fucking loud, even by gun standards.

Ah, got cease and desisted. I see. I still think Stoat is a weird choice, but fair enough.

Stoat.
That’s, uh.. that’s a decision.

Can you explain what you mean? I never played TA, but being able to queue commands is pretty common in RTS games. Did TA have some kind of system to further facilitate that, or was it just taken to an extreme?

Rainbow Six Siege has had a pretty strong competitive scene for pretty much the entirety of it’s lifespan- it’s definitely fluctuated a bit in popularity, but every Invitational has had the same prize pool.

Uh, really? The English version is pretty convincing that it is- it even lists three different methods they used over the years. The sources seem convincing, but I’m quite literally judging the book by it’s title there.

I’m ngl I also got told that and believed it. I don’t really feel very gullible since I’ve never actually been stung by one? Even destroying their nests doesn’t seem to make them aggressive.

Nobody would’ve heard paracetamol, but you’d probably get some hits with acetaminophen. Not a lot, to be clear, but some.

FMHY definitely updates as well. That site is much more streaming focused, though, so definitely useful.
