Search engines aren’t affected by the law so yeah safe search being off still works

That would guarantee your death
- Comment on Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the USA? 6 days ago:
The US is already sanctioning itself through tariffs, and the rest of the crap is domestic problems.

Autocannibalism can be vegan if you consent to it

This is true. Black and White might have been awkward and buggy but it pioneered a whole sub-genre.

I bet they’re so happy to be back under China’s thumb now
- Comment on When was the last time you actually laughed while playing a game? 1 week ago:
On a similar theme, “Thank goodness you’re here!” Had me creasing at times. Especially at the lawn mowing bit.

The… Snow… Won’t be here?

Hey that’s not all they do!
About once a month on a Saturday afternoon they spend an hour or two holding up protest signs before going home for a self-congratulatory wank.
- Comment on Cardiff is set to become the first city in the UK to introduce higher parking charges for SUVs 1 week ago:
Yes but I’d say only for new cars, seems a bit unfair to people who bought their cars a couple of years before the charge is introduced. Do they really want to pressure those people to go and buy another car? (more environmentally damaging than keeping what they have).

- Comment on ‘Enforced veganism’: Ofcom lets GB News flout accuracy rules, say climate campaigners 1 week ago:
That might be the catalyst but it’s foreign adversaries that have been investing a lot of resources into polarising us that are the real cause of this.

As a kid I had to go to hospital because I ran around with a toothbrush in my mouth and fell on it

We have silicone ones but I don’t like them as they retain the taste of washing up liquid on them
- Comment on Why supermarket prices really became sky high in the UK 2 weeks ago:
Probably been sat in storage too long. Apples are sold all year round but they are only harvested once per year. And don’t think that in season you’ll be getting fresh ones, they’ll be straight into storage while you eat the year old stock.

A subscription for a mattress. This is where we are now.
- Comment on Ex PlayStation exec says Sony can't keep "increasing the graphics power" with new consoles after tech plateau, but PS5 has already "made almost every game a better game" 2 weeks ago:
I have a PC and PS5. I like my PS5 because I know when I buy a game for it, it’s going to work. On the other hand with my PC I have to triple check the specs and fiddle around with the graphics settings, and the only way I can have confidence that it will play any game is if I spend ~£1000 upgrading it. Or just get the game on the playstation.
- Comment on Green Party membership surges even higher as Labour loses a member every 10 minutes 2 weeks ago:
I haven’t paid any attention to them for a good 10 years, when I looked at their manifesto and saw that they wanted to cancel all road maintenance to force people to cycle. Hopefully it’s a bit less insane these days.

The permission of unrestricted hate speech is what leads the people like your current president being your current president.
- Comment on 4chan faces UK ban after refusing to pay ‘stupid’ fine 2 weeks ago:
That’s like saying that a company can freely import guns into a country where they are banned, but it’s all the civilians fault if they buy any.
- Comment on 4chan faces UK ban after refusing to pay ‘stupid’ fine 2 weeks ago:
And as a result of that attitude they just lost the entire UK market

None of us do. Most of us have started using VPNs ever since this law came into effect.

Within a neighbourhood you usually open one house and all the others and their occupants are “paused” mid-activity. However Sims from the “paused” houses can randomly visit the one you have open without breaking the continuity of their own household.
E.g. you leave one house with the sim in the shower, go play a different house and hey presto the sim that was in the shower comes to visit. You then switch back to the other house and the sim is still in the shower.
So the murder clown would be paused in his house doing nothing yet still be making cameo visits around the neighbourhood.

- Comment on Massive Pokemon leak purportedly covers next-gen games, scrapped ideas, and more 3 weeks ago:
Secret bases! Kinda pointless but if you did record mixing with a friend they would appear in their own base in your game and you could battle them
- Comment on Day 456 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 3 weeks ago:
Had to switch the console off and leave it for a few days. Crowds of dozens of headless zombies running at me and I couldn’t kill them, all I could do was keep fleeing on horseback, only to encounter another crowd of them. Genuinely the scariest experience I’ve ever had in a game.
- Comment on Day 456 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 3 weeks ago:
Had that on the PS3 back in the day. Got a weird glitch one time where the zombies all spawned with no heads and were basically immortal. Now that was true horror.
- Comment on some days i cant even 3 weeks ago:
Yeah the tree:land ratio of my back garden is highly in favour of the trees. Every autumn the entire area gets coated in a thick layer of sycamore leaves that can easily take a year to decompose even in a compost pile. I rake that shit into piles over my flowerbeds for the winter, then into the compost during the spring. I would mow them but it’s the UK so it’s rare to find an autumn day where the leaves aren’t too wet and soggy.

Cars are designed up to 5 years in advance. Usually the last 2 years before production is dedicated to endurance testing.
