- Comment on Teenage Jehovah's Witness can receive blood transfusion, judge rules 2 hours ago:
She’s a child grown and conditioned entirely in the restrictive cult, knowing only what the Elders and her conditioned family taught her - the beliefs are hardly her own, let alone her medical choices. Poor kid is just one of thousands of victims of the Witnesses’ doctrines.

Pretty sure the emissions and market starvation is what’s ‘toxic’. A more correct term would be ‘lousy’

As long as the ones I’m interested in don’t get scrubbed by an authority I’ll get to acquiring it later.

There will always be someone who makes a script to delete the shit features. For example

- Comment on When a parent's primary/preferred language differs from their child(ren)'s primary/preferred language, who should have the most "obligation" to learn more of the other's primary language? 2 weeks ago:
I’d say you speak theirs - I say this not because of any tradition, but I’ve been taught that younger minds are more open to learning. Apparently that shit decreases at you age, so the idea is it’d be easier for the younger one to learn the basics of another language.

I’m locked in a contract with a company that enshittified their services a little and assigns restrictive IPs to non-Business customers that have been using port 25, but am switching to a more libre ISP as soon as it ends. I basically snoozed and didn’t realise the ISP hadn’t been rated the best for several years.

I’ve heard great things about Bitwarden, Vaultwarden, 1Password and Keepass, although the latter may fall out of preference rapidly. Some also recommend the Apple Cloud key storage. Call me a stickler but I haven’t trusted Apple security since the Fappening, even if it was the victims’ fault for not using 2FA

One of my breaches was just Google Chrome (back when I used it) logging me entering my password in a self-hosted local web app via https but with no cert… Google. My breach was Google.

Shouldn’t have used YouTube as your only outlet then, you damn idiots. America is not your friend.
- Comment on YouTube is taking down videos on performing nonstandard Windows 11 installs 1 month ago:
Yeah, but discovery optimisation algorithms are what got YouTube into the mess it’s in. I’m okay with a more natural, look for what you want style, as opposed to being handed video after video to waste time.
I wouldn’t know too much about the searching issue. What problems have you noticed?

Or Odysee!! A well established platform with decentralised video storage and a FOSS app that lets you browse all videos with relatively fast loading.
