- Comment on Most of the misery in the world is the direct result of too much money in too few unscrupulous hands. This is not only the cause of the vast majority of human suffering, but also of climate change, wh 1 hour ago:
Money. We need a new system of commerce. The quest for even more money is the longest problem we refuse to look at in human history. Excessive greed should be punished not aspired to. All we seem to do is turn to rich people for answers like they’ve figured out the world, when in fact they ignore the world and supplant a system called “the economy” over actual reality. We make goods and send them there to buy back their goods from over there to make people in the middle rich for doing nothing. Completely ignoring health, safety, the environment in the process, things that are real in the real world that we all experience and affect us. Make it make sense to me.

It was built cheap and efficiently, not to please the eye. It could certainly be better, and we know that our environ plays a bigger role in our outlooks than we did before. If they built it today, it would have a few more trees and green spaces but would maintain it’s very essence, which is a large domicile to house people for cheap.

They are preparing for a world where we don’t own things and get free use of the things they choose for us to use, when they want us to use them. Act now, before it’s too late. Death by a thousand cuts, so goes society.
- Comment on Just the Browser: tools to remove AI and other bloatware from Chrome, Edge and Firefox 4 days ago:
I learned how to turn off the AI search mode and chrome immediately logged me out and pretended not to know my device. C’mon bro, just give it up already, we do t want your shitty product shoved down our throats. Waterfox it is, and they easily let me transfer all my bookmarks and passwords.
- Comment on If the United States of America was renamed, what should it be? 4 days ago:
Yes, they had no concept of “owning land” because at the end of the day, that’s ridiculous.
- Comment on If the United States of America was renamed, what should it be? 4 days ago:
The continent is North America. The Americas are both the north and south continents. As a Canadian, I don’t give a rats ass. Just because Trump has the comprehension of a 3 year old we do t have to change things to make him feel comfortable. The are the United States of America, not the country of America. That’s just short form because it’s a mouthful otherwise.

No see, that one guy totally knows what going on and is immortal so will always be there to answer questions on how the code was written and where it might have gone wrong.
- Comment on Microsoft CEO warns that we must 'do something useful' with AI or they'll lose 'social permission' to burn electricity on it 6 days ago:
You already don’t have social permission to do what you are doing, and that hasn’t stopped you. The world is bigger than the 10 people around your board’s table.

Nobody wants your shitty, unethical and environmentally disastrous product. Go back to the design room and make good things people want and stop trying to force AI down our throats.

- Comment on Trump: The U.S. will 'now' start hitting Mexican land targets 2 weeks ago:
Yet. Yet. Something tells me they could get their hands on some RPGs easily at the very least. Insurgency can be very effective with improvised weaponry.
- Comment on Trump: The U.S. will 'now' start hitting Mexican land targets 2 weeks ago:
If history reminds me, many Germans were on board with that plan. This is pretty much all billionaires and bot farms that support this fucker and a few stragglers that never passed grade 3. It’s going to go very bad for them, but it’s gonna hurt a lot for us first

Sorry, that’s actually for exporting and fuel. You get dust and straw.

Mexico should just start bombing Texas if this goes down. Why not?! When in Rome…

Because they are actually illegal. Try telling that to the dictator in chief and his cronies. You have to follow laws for them to work.

- Comment on How to deal with agression? 3 weeks ago:
Meditation. I have anger issues, and I find first you must recognize it in yourself, then you can choose how to act. I walk away rather than get all riled up. I love a good argument, but sometimes you just shoot yourself in the foot when you start seeing red. Being able to find a meditative state will help you step back from the aggression when it arises in you

In Canada it is still considered expensive, but not even close to $800/month. It’s only considered expensive because most shit like that is free or a very nominal fee, but repeated need is what it is.
