- Comment on Borderlands 4 for Nintendo Switch 2 likely axed, as Take-Two says it’s ‘paused’ development | VGC 2 days ago:
I abused fast travel, all I remember from bl3 are the long boring unskippable non cutscene cutscenes. It always felt like there were there to artificially extend the time, id rather it just be a cutscene, over my gameplay while listening becoming just walking in circles waiting to actually play the game.

3 was extra short, didnt feel like replaying it, just played it last year, didn’t feel like buying 4 and I can afford it + have free time. It just doesn’t look appealing, will def buy when it inevitably goes on sale for like 10-20$

Demand for new games will always be up, we aren’t the audience, kids, teens, and new adults are. They don’t feel any nostalgia for the past, they want the newest freshest coolest thing, they buy 2k, fifa, etc. every year simply because it’s newz

I regretted buying a key for my handheld, it runs okay, not the best graphics but you save a lot of memory with the version meant for handhelds. Just did not enjoy it, maybe wouldve on playstation with friends if they were interested, just does not feel good to move around. I played helldivers 1 back when it was a ps plus game and I prefer that one and I have always been third person > topdown.

Im not 40, I’ve tried old games, I know why they aren’t still relevant now, nostalgia doesn’t make me like them

In regular use I prefer 4k, but with games I legit cant tell the difference between 4k and 1440p, I can tell the different between 60 and 120, 180 not really

I got scammed by every game I was a backer of, will prob never do that again, that money would’ve been better spent on anything else back then, but prob wouldve just gone to bags and bars

I hated that, felt like I had to keep swapping, it was anti elden ring, they should have stats for the driver you can reset to encourage not swapping as frequently, maybe you do better with certain types of cars, idk, prob stupid af to do in a car game. I just hated how the progression felt. You’ll have more cars than you know what to do with a few hours in.

Run script, open appstore, pick app, click install, yunohost lowkey easier than regular desktop use. It felt too easy and user friendly, like I wasn’t learning anything so I stopped using it. Idc about learning anymore so I may use it again, not sure what the downsides of not using docker are.

Genuinely love vr/ar, glad theyve pushed it enough that its not just seen as the cardboard stuff anymore

idk vr never felt like a pit, just early, comfort and fov was an issue, literally my main issue was not being able to see my phone without taking it off. Once that is solved I could use it indefinitely, taking it off and putting it back on was annoying and it always felt wrong after

- Comment on Random idea: a federated alternative to Amazon Prime built from independent shops? 1 month ago:
I like stuff fast, so it works for me. 90% of things get overnighted with no minimum limit with prime. Only have a local walmart, everything else is 30+ minutes away and even then amazon usually has cheaper and better stuff compared to whatever cheapo brands retail stores carry at a markup.
- Comment on Random idea: a federated alternative to Amazon Prime built from independent shops? 1 month ago:
Same with half the comic book stores I buy from. Like gemcity has an ebay page, cant remember the others but many have amazon and ebay pages.

You get the option to pick, fewer boxes or faster delivery for some items? I always get the option.
- Comment on Random idea: a federated alternative to Amazon Prime built from independent shops? 1 month ago:
Like the other comments said, it’s prob on it’s way to becoming it’s own amazon like figure there, thats how they start out
- Comment on Random idea: a federated alternative to Amazon Prime built from independent shops? 1 month ago:
Amazon is local independt shops too, and better shipping, I just wouldnt do that to myself when amazon exists and ik I can get returns + fast shipping, you need buyers, more than a few altruistic ppl

Vin Diesel was and is such an odd pick. Maybe 10 years ago it’d make more sense.

- Comment on Netflix acquires gaming avatar maker Ready Player Me 1 month ago:
Think of it like s@box where they can choose to add the s@box avatar and have that system of clothing in their game or do their own, it’s optional but if you use it you obviously will account for it in the style
- Comment on Netflix acquires gaming avatar maker Ready Player Me 1 month ago:
It’s current use case is a rigged semi customizable avatar you can then modify or use as is in vr games like vr chat. I think it’s not too bad if you play around with shaders and make it cartoony. I used it for my vrchat avatar base and then would 3d model or make particle vfx and add it to the avatar.
