Thanks a ton for explaining this for me. I tried it out and it worked like a charm.
Now I will look for phone mounts.
- Comment on Are there any Android controllers with split D-pads? 1 week ago:
How can I get them to pair with Android?
I don’t know much about it, but it looks like something specific is required ti pair controllers with an Android phone. I can pair them just fine with my PC.
I’m mostly asking out of curiosity; a regular Playstation controller isn’t able to hold the phone.

Voting is fine the way it is.
Any instances with issues can change settings for themselves.

Is that it? We stop using better programs because we disagree with the creator’s views?
What a disgusting, childish world some of these people live in.
“I was going to buy that house, but the owner’s views made me reconsider.”

It’s fine if matrix.org goes down the shitter.
The protocol is what’s important.
- Comment on matrix is cooked 2 weeks ago:
Matrix is the best option and we should be focusing on improving it instead of restarting from scratch.
They need more resources and better design, but that comes with time. Don’t let them sucker you out of money to fuel their consumerist lifestyles.

That’s like saying POP3 is cooked.

Turn the argument on yourself.
Do you think we can’t get a competent CEO for less than $170k/year? If so, why?
The answer is yes, considering how many people work harder for less. There’s nothing particularly difficult or unique about this guys’ position that justifies his salary.
The only reason he’s able to get it is because suckers like you are willing to pay for it.
I’m going to ignore you now. Tools are never going to learn from their mistakes or recognize how they’re being played.
- Comment on Matrix.org is Introducing Premium Accounts 2 weeks ago:
No, you’re trying to defend the profit’s of others without realizing how they’re taking advantage of your naivete.
Honestly, trying to explain things to useful idiots really is a fool’s errand. The best I can do is make it clear as day for anyone with a brain how much of a sucker the average internet user is these days.
Goodbye. I’m going to ignore you, and keep defending greed like a good little tool.

Why would someone choose a more stressful job for the same pay?
Because they don’t have a choice? Holy shit, you people are so disconnected from reality it’s not even funny.
People work significantly harder than this CEO for significantly less. If the CEO was forced to make less money, he could still do the job without an issue. But why would he when useful idiots will defend him making more?
If he’s not willing to do the job for less, than someone else would be willing to take over his role considering how many people already work way harder for way less.
Thanks for proving my last point right, again.
- Comment on Matrix.org is Introducing Premium Accounts 2 weeks ago:
That’s funny, because nothing about his job requires him to be there.
Unlike, you know, people outside of tech.
- Comment on Matrix.org is Introducing Premium Accounts 2 weeks ago:
Uhh, no.
This is directly the point: Most people work more stressful jobs for considerably less. We should stop giving CEOs a pass.
Oh, and don’t forget about this one!
but most people are useful idiots so here we are.

This person is just looking for an excuse to continuing censoring those he disagrees with.
He likes the abuse of power because it suits his agendas.
He doesn’t know he’s causing more harm than good, though. And I don’t expect him to learn.
- Comment on As disinformation and hate thrive online, YouTube quietly changed how it moderates content 3 weeks ago:
I agree.
Scumbags want censorship to only be used against those they disagree with.

$170k/year for 1 person is no joke.
This is just a grift to take advantage of morons.
Don’t be one of them.
- Comment on Matrix.org is Introducing Premium Accounts 3 weeks ago:
It must not be that stressful if you have $170k leftover to pay yourself.
Most people work more stressful jobs for considerably less. We should stop giving CEOs a pass.
This shouldn’t need to be said, but most people are useful idiots so here we are.
- Comment on Matrix.org is Introducing Premium Accounts 3 weeks ago:
Yeah, it’s all grifts for morons by scumbags.
Some idiots were really trying to peddle the lie that infosec.exchange costs $5000/month to host while of course providing no verifiable evidence, just “trust them bro.” It’s sad watching suckers lap it up without a second thought.
A fool and his money are soon parted.

Post receipts or something official to back up your claims.
Saying it costs $5000/month to host infosec.exchange radiates bullshit like a nuclear explosion.
Don’t trust people when they want to take money from you. Money brings out the worst in people.
- Comment on Clarifying Costs of Running the Fediverse with Jerry from Infosec.Exchange 3 weeks ago:
Did they share any receipts or official documents to back up their claims?
They have a really good racket going on and want to make sure people keep giving them way more money than is necessary.
Money brings out the worst in people.
