  That is wild, but it makes sense. Staples isn’t really interested in me buying a pen, and I am guessing the average person does not use a pen that often anymore. However, Staples is really interested in getting a contract with my employer to make sure the office is well stocked with pens, paper, and other office supplies. Depending on how distribution works, it is possible to sell less pens and make more money. If all the pens go to the same three companies that could be cheaper then shipping pens to 15 different stores.

  I now use the “Likes AI Test” to measure IQ. The premise is that AI can only be average because it consumes everything on the internet indiscriminately. So, people with greater than average critical thinking and knowledge hate AI because its dumber than them and useless. Conversely, people with less than average critical think and knowledge love AI because it seems smarter than them. So if we measure someones like or dislike of AI we can infer the general range of their IQ.

  Given this above test, this means my boss is a fucking idiot and gets paid a lot of money to be an idiot.

  I am going to stake my reputation on this, that image is not AI generated. AI images struggle to get wording and spelling right. Also the colors are mutated like the photo was taken in shitty florescent lighting, AI images tend to be cleaner.

  Some people find themselves in places where they lack the choice to limit themselves to two children when an accident happens. Not everyone has the resources to travel to a place where they would be able to make a choice.

  yes, but you need the mac of a device on the network. These means you need access to the the router to see the approved mac addresses or you need access to a physical device already on the network. So, something like a wifi enabled security camera could be a risk for anyone securing their network this way.

  A friend of mine has three kids and works 70 hours a week. He is not able to make enough to support his family, and social services have been cut so much that his only option is to take out a personal loan, which will only make his problem worse.

  This is comment is so on point I actually LOLed. I am an IT Auditor and I hate 99% of the people I work with. I had to explain the difference between UDP and TCP and why that was relevant to my boss with 10 years experience.

  I choose these games not because they are good but because they had massive impacts on video games. Except for Mario 3, that ones just the GOAT.

  I got bad news for this guy, his employer is only going to pay for excel and his coworker only knows how to use excel so he better learn to use excel. Also people do a lot of things in excel that have no business being done in excel.
