- Comment on The Education Crisis: How AI Is Failing Students for the Future Job Market 1 week ago:
Well…AI pushes from management are absolutely not just a boomer phenomena. The whole premise of AI buzz in management is “let’s hire less workers”.
I’d say it’s more of the offshoring to “cheaper” labor markets but except only the AI giants writing agents get paid, not actual people.
Instead of lifting people out of poverty or providing humane assistive technology, every AI ceo out there has their eyes on selling their products so their clients can lay off people.
- Comment on China is rushing to develop its AI-powered censorship system 2 weeks ago:
This concept is the enemy of the concept of Liberté that has blessed so many of us in the West.
Something beautiful and as sacred as the freedom from forced labor and the freedom to choose your trade, is the concept of the free and unbounded innocence of voices asking their leaders and each other these questions, to determine amongst ourselves what is fair and not, for our own betterment and the beauty of free enterprise.
It’s not so much that the Chinese state is an awful power to behold (it is and fuck Poohhead) but this same politics is on the rise in the West and it leads to war. It always leads to war. And now the most automated form of state propaganda the world has ever seen is in the hands of a ruthless ruling class that can, has, and will steal bread from children’s hands, and literally take the medicine from the sick to pad their pockets.
Such is the twisted fate of society and likely always will be.

Solidarity with women is not the same thing as accepting ad hominem and infantilization from a stranger on the Internet. Soak your head.

Thanks I’ve never heard of data. And I’ve never read an academic text either. Condescending pos
So, while I’m ironing out your logic for you, “what else would you rely on, if not logic, to prove or disprove and ascertain knowledge about gaps?”
- Comment on Elon Musk wants to rewrite "the entire corpus of human knowledge" with Grok 3 weeks ago:
Uh, just a thought. Please pardon, I’m not an Elon shill, I just think your argument phrasing is off.
How would you know there are holes in understanding, without logic. How would you remedy gaps of understanding in human knowledge, without the application of logic to find things are consistent?
- Comment on Why is the manosphere on the rise? UN Women sounds the alarm over online misogyny 4 weeks ago:
Your argument and vitriole is a nice example of weaponized self-righteousness. You think because you’re aware of a class of people that has a disadvantage in labor, that makes your opinion on that group more valuable than others, and instead of having the conversation about labor or why some men fall prey to bullshit, because of vitriole like this that serves only to alienate, you’re playing right into the hands of people who divide labor and reap profits.
Instead of stating anything at all respectfully and with a level head, you’re shoving things down someone’s throat (LMAO) for having something to say about what misogyny is to a group of people (some men) that understand where misogyny comes from, how young men internalize misogyny and then go into management to perpetuate it, and how’s it’s used in terms of capital markets to sell vibes to people (men and women) that feel attacked by a real issue.
People like you are a dime a dozen.

I don’t talk back about defense nowadays. Running your mouth just gets you sicker and sicker and on top might be a big hole in your foot.
If you think the Internet is a haven of free speech, you might not have read the memos.
I think Palantir is good for America. Aside from the whole eightys scifi hellscape thing.

I don’t think you’re wrong de facto, and the intentions of the tariffs are certainly different from the results.
Not a Trump supporter btw, just skeptical of each and every neocon/neolib that sets foot near business regulations and PAC money.
- Comment on The Oscars officially don’t care if films use AI 2 months ago:
But it’s icky because the issue of remuneration for legacy actors remains the unspoken part here. Actors train for their whole lives and these models have the potential to undermine the value of these actors.
