How could Mark Marin age out? Stan Lee had, like, 40 years on him.

First of all, vasectomy can be reversed.
Second, if you’re concerned about future procreation, freeze some of your sperm.

Maybe it’s just because I’m so focused on my own issues as a US citizen… But how the hell did some Australian Christofascist group get this powerful? Like, the RIAA and MPAA combined couldn’t get the United States government to make this much movement on “objectionable content” (piracy at the time, and also now, and all of the time between then and now), but even the crypto fascists of yesterday year couldn’t get this much traction. Probably because people like Frank Zappa and Fred Rogers came forth to criticize the ridiculousness and the consequences of such a position and search policies.

Your statement struck me as strange and somewhat ironic because paleontology involves a lot of digging deep to find fossils. And while I obviously can’t disagree with you on the fact that a lot of organisms did die without getting fossilized, I disagree that paleontology is just “scratching the surface“. Certainly, not everything can be revealed via paleontology for the obvious reasons, but it has revealed an awful lot.

I just pleaded through Oceanhorn, and now I’m playing Oceanhorn 2. Cute little games with an interesting story and some kind of basic puzzles. But the gameplay is fun.

Paleontology studies this. Perhaps you should study paleontology?

Large companies also make massive profits because of the scale they work on. Matching 401(k) contributions? It doesn’t need to be an order of magnitude larger for it to make a huge difference. Simply doubling my 401(k) is a big deal.
And of course they get a “ball rate“ on payroll taxes, especially for companies who have over 1000 employees or over 5000 over 10,000. They experienced this by having a lower tax rate for larger businesses.
Businesses, particularly word businesses, operate on much larger profit margins than most of any freelance contractor.
- Comment on Vibe coding service Replit deleted production database 2 weeks ago:
Most of those expenses are mitigated by the fact that companies buy them in bulk on huge plans. As a freelance contractor myself, I pay a lot more for insurance than I did when I worked for a company. And a retirement plan? Lol.
