True, but some people may not have a choice because of work or family.

Unfortunately the other big airlines in the country will do this soon after seeing its success.

Another reason to take a burner instead if you have to travel to China.

Bottom. The spacing/size of the stairs is the biggest clue. If we were at the bottom, it would indicate that the stairs are very tall and not very wide. As others have said, the worn carpet is also an indicator, as the carpet on the side of the stairs would not be worn. It would also likely have something sticking out like most stairs, not just flat.

Maybe they aren’t updating enough which leads to larger issues. Had a problem in the past updating NextCloud too slowly and stuff broke.

McDonalds made money from the deal. They were paid by Taylor to force their franchisees to use their ice cream machines with the extortionist service contract.

If a company’s culture causes a high turnover rate, that is a company problem.

I remember using something similar for my GBA. They sucked, but they were better than the alternative of not playing.
- Comment on The Trump Administration is Building a National Citizenship Data System; State and county election officials can now check the citizenship status of their entire voter lists. 2 weeks ago:
The US is generally the same where some local elections allow non-citizen residents to vote for local issues.
The issue with this is was not created publicly. We don’t know what kind of data is being uses to determine someone’s status. If someone is private enough to not have any data collected by its source, then they could be denied voting rights despite being legally able to vote.
It also could end up bring used as the sole source for verifying someone’s status, despite having documents to prove otherwise.

It would be the largest cost cutting measure, but the ruling class won’t allow it.

I’m not happy with how Mozilla leadership has navigated the ship, but what is the alternative? If Mozilla dies, there isn’t enough funding for one of the forks to take over the browser.
- Comment on Yet another European government is ditching Microsoft for Linux - here's why 4 weeks ago:
I know how to use Teams. I know its trash because the layout is unintuitive and the UI is slow. I know these because all of the other sites and applications I use do it better.
- Comment on Yet another European government is ditching Microsoft for Linux - here's why 4 weeks ago:
I don’t blame them, Teams is trash. It’s the worst software that I have to work wig on a daily basis.
- Comment on PC Gaming’s Mascot Squad—who makes the cut? 5 weeks ago:
I think Thrall or someone else from Warcraft should be on there. It is a huge franchise that had its first four titles as PC exclusive.
Another good option would be to have one mascot each from Xbox and PlayStation, as they have braced PC as a platform that they will continue to release games for. Maybe pucking one of the first releases from each would be a good choice.
I think your list also has too many older titles that many PC players have never touched. Most new franchises are going to be cross platform at this point.
- Comment on How do you keep track of what games you have played over the years? 5 weeks ago:
Some people use categories in their steam library, but it would be nice to have something else to track it all.
- Comment on Just finished Hogwarts Legacy, it was enjoyable but could've been better. 1 month ago:
I agree. You hit all of the points that I felt the game fell short.
The castle was beautiful, but we didn’t spend rough time in it. Much of the open world felt like filler and it just wasn’t as enjoyable to be in.
The combat felt out of place in this game. Having a student running around killing people should not have been as normalized as it was. I think a focus on more non combat magic would have worked better. Some combat would be OK, but it should have been far rarer.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 months ago:
Couldn’t agree more. I use both tools as they have their place, but when I want a search engine, I don’t want to get an AI answer for the result. Like if I’m searching for documentation on something, what benefit would the AI provide me over just giving the link?
- Comment on The German Federal Cartel Office has concerns about the current form of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency Framework (Apple doesn't apply its strict app tracking rules to itself). 5 months ago:
I’m glad someone is doing something about it. Apple does a decent job of protecting 3rd party apps tracking, but it fails to state how it handles your data.
