There’s why I do not have or use Contacts on phone. There is no phone numbers in my phone. I have a couple copies of a text file with phone numbers save on USB’s and I think a BSD server. There’s no contact info that apps can scan to get other people’s emails or numbers.

There are things only sold on Amazon because that’s where the global mass market is. Even though Amazon does not have a site for every individual country, which other shopping website deliveries to almost every single country? If you want to replace Amazon, spend $5 billion to develop a competitor.
- Comment on I wish they'd stop calling themselves Conservatives 4 weeks ago:
Th bulk of people on here have no concept of what conservative is because they can’t name any group on the political right who disagree with conservatives. They can’t list any views of people on the political right who are against conservatism.

- Comment on Just waiting for them to circle back on eugenics again... 5 weeks ago:
Eugenics can be disguised has health care because a doctor can claim that it is being to done to make humans stronger, live longer, or develop new abilities, and if people are killed in the process, ok, that’s the cost of designing a better human specie. It’s too bad that people don’t have at least 3 years of learning the details of what Josef Mengele did to his patients. Serial killers would not be able to stomach Mengele’s experiments on people.
- Comment on ‘The tyranny of apps’: those without smartphones are unfairly penalised, say campaigners 5 weeks ago:
Correct, use VoIP with wi-fi service instead of cell and data. It also makes the calls untraceable for location for best privacy practices. There’s no way to trace where in the world a phone is if using wi-fi to call standard phone numbers. For personal calling, not a work phone, some people don’t care about messages and calling when they are out walking, shopping, attending events. They want to focus on the real world around them, not phone stuff.
- Comment on Just waiting for them to circle back on eugenics again... 5 weeks ago:
There’s already a sizeable number of people that demand eugenics, including a lot of Lemmy people, but they disguise eugenics through social experiments as healthcare. If they were against eugenics, they would be against trillion dollar pharmaceutical corporations making hundreds of billions of dollars through lobbying to change laws and implement mandates.
- Comment on Conservatives say 'good riddance' to Joy Reid's MSNBC show as liberals slam network shake-up 5 weeks ago:
Having a libertarian channel would some balance to the national political dialogue, but I could see them eventually doing a parody show, given the nature of libertarianism. At some point, eventually, libertarian conversations turn into comedy and parody of anything and everything. Even religious people enjoy parody of religion as long as it’s not based in mockery.
- Comment on Conservatives say 'good riddance' to Joy Reid's MSNBC show as liberals slam network shake-up 5 weeks ago:
Is there any future for MSNBC and CNN in the next 3 years if they can’t get daily viewers to sell commercials? On the flip side, I wonder how a libertarian channel would do since there is no libertarian news on TV.

Is it only criticisms of Trump’s team that matter, but criticisms of the past 4 years don’t matter?
- Comment on The Lemmy Liberal 5 weeks ago:
There reason people on here scream and rail against Twitter/X is because everyone is free to tweet unapproved opinions and use blunt terms to address their misanthropy. Lemmy people promote acceptance and inclusion for all people, but death to every person who won’t conform and won’t submit. To prove me wrong, find a post on here from anybody saying that they can be good friends with someone who disagrees with their opinion. If they weren’t paralyzed by fear of speaking outside in public in the real world with strangers of anyone who has a different view, they wouldn’t try to create a fantasy world in cyberspace to hide away from anyone challenging their statements. Online censorship is for people who always lose arguments in the unfiltered real world.
- Comment on ‘The tyranny of apps’: those without smartphones are unfairly penalised, say campaigners 5 weeks ago:
I’m open to hear if you guys disagree with me, but that is not simply about not having a smartphone as much as it is about not having cell service, not using data service. If a person uses a libre VoIP app, there is no need for cell service, and people actually can live happy lives disconnected from internet when they are outside or in public.
Society must revert their mentality and not expect constant immediate access to everything. Absolutely nothing happens on the internet for personal activity that can’t wait a few hours or the next day.
I use phone only for direct communication, zero multimedia, zero social media on phone. Everything else is done on computer. Especially banking, that is on computer website only for security, never on phone. I despise and resent using a phone for websites

What is life like struggling with with obsessive paranoia? Do you not see how you have created a fantasy inside your head?
Why do you give such people supreme authority over your thought process when they are not trying to stick a gun in your mouth, not trying to break your legs, and not trying to take all of your money?

Since they can not be found in nature, human rights do not exist without people labelling something a human right, and laws are worthless if the culture among the people reject and ignore government’s laws.

While I do not accept misanthropy as a worldview or a philosophy, and you are a wrong to believe there is not a greater paradise that surpasses all human imagination or comprehension, I do somewhat agree with your broader point, but I also hear emotions clouding objective analysis. But I strongly agree that all people need to get outside of themself.
You will be dead a lot longer than you were ever alive. If someone spends everyday avoiding death, they will never live, never find life.
