Just saying, if Canada we’re somehow able to liquidate Trump, Vance, Ron, Johnson, bondi, Rubio, and all other Trump appointees, it wouldn’t even be in the news after a few days. We’d have a special election and just kind of forget about it.

It’s for real time facial recognition for LEO so they can easily identify and round up immigrants and dissidents. They want the government contracts

They know that the government contracts for real time facial recognition via AR will be massive. They want to make a fortune enabling oppression

It depends on where you are. I just drove thru a college campus the other day for the first time in years, and for it being one of the first really nice days, I have to say the student body was… Underwhelming
- Comment on In a Boon for Tesla, Feds Weaken Rules for Reporting on Self-Driving 6 days ago:
I’m sure that they’re just as shitty and more concerned with profits than safety, just like Tesla. When you don’t punish companies and ceo’s like you would a homeless person, or teacher, or doctor, or police officer, or fireman, then they have no incentive to do anything other than profit.

- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 2 weeks ago:
My issue is typically also with Android Auto. The sound fidelity, especially low end, is much better with a good cable, and when the cable starts to go bad it will default to just Bluetooth for audio which is noticable

Yeah, people forget that there are entire generations of Americans whose only feasible retirement plans are suicide or homicide

If you need an ultrasonic cleaner, just go to harbor freight, they have decent ones for cheap. I bought one a few years back for carburetor parts a few years ago, and it does a great job

- Comment on Other than a faulty charging port, is there any reason to use a wireless phone charger over wired? 4 weeks ago:
I’ve noticed that with the varying quality of USB cables, and them having broken/cracked wires over time, I usually get much faster charging when doing it wirelessly. If anything is way more consistent. With cords it’s a crap shot. Is this a fast charge cord? Was it cheaply made, is it deteriorating? I can use 4 different cords and get different results from each

Seems like putting your efforts behind censoring and banning your user base while simultaneously trying to give a pass to a facist oligarchy is a bad idea. That’s the thing about oligarchy, it’s a small club and if you weren’t already in it, you’re not going to be any time soon. Facebook and Xitter don’t want to share the money from ads and adversarial state\private actors

Startup idea: silk road, but for contract killings. Contracts have to be minimum of $500k and must be for someone with a net worth of over 2 million. Contracts are funded by large amounts of anonymous small donations in crypto, bounties can be claimed by submitting a destination wallet address and details that can confirm\correlate completion of the contract.
The broker gets a % of the total contract for managing the market. All parties are anonymous

This is what I’ve been doing for over 10 years, I get promotions/raises regularly. Make yourself indispensable and easy to work with, but also do as little as possible. People will love you for it, because you’re always calm, laid back, and save the day regularly. The work you’re not doing is irrelevant, if the work you do is appreciated.

Yes, it’s called mutually beneficial. They saved hundreds of dollars every month since I was charging them way under market for rent. They were actually able to save up a substantial amount. I mean they were planning on having to pay at least 1200 a month for a shitty place, instead they got an actual fucking house for 900.
When his mom was dying of cancer, he had room for her to stay with them after chemo sessions. Since the house was in a great location near the hospital
- Comment on Fucking leeches 1 month ago:
I used to have my own place before my wife and I got married, and she had her own house too. When I moved in with her I decided to rent out my place to a friend, otherwise I’d have to still pay like $650 a month for my mortgage. I set my friends rent at $900 a month for him and a friend, with cats. I paid my mortgage and had some extra to save up in case a repair was needed. Average rent for an apartment (not a house) was 1200-1500 in the same area. My renters ended up taking better care of the house than I ever did. It was beautiful when they lived there. I ended up making about 5k to 10k extra bucks over the course of a few years and my mortgage was paid for me. Eventually they had to move out due to some issues between the two at which point I sold the house and made over six figures, off a house that cost less than $80,000 when I bought it.
See what I did there? I charged a reasonable rent and still made a totally stupid amount of money off of just one property. I wasn’t a goddamn parasite who tried to bleed my tenants for everything they were worth.
People like these total shitbags. They’re the reason why America’s youth have no future

- Comment on Tech's Dumbest Mistake: Why Firing Programmers for AI Will Destroy Everything 2 months ago:
What most people forget is that as a programmer/designer/etc, your job is to take what your client/customer tells you they want, listen to them, then try to give them what they ACTUALLY NEED, which is something that I think needs to be highlighted. Most people making requests to programmers, don’t really even know what they want, or why they want it. They had some meeting and people decided that, ‘Yes we need the program to do X!’ without realizing that what they are asking for won’t actually get them the result they want.
AI will be great at giving people exactly what they ask for…but that doesn’t mean its what they actually needed…
