Yeah that’s a horrible sentence my bad. You’re not the only one who’s not fully awake.

It is mayor jank but Dragons Dogma was the closest to feeling like a mage I’ve ever experienced. There are no cool downs in the game but channeling spells takes some time and upholding a continuous spell drains your stamina. In this setting the art a the mage was reading the battle and estimating you much space you have to channel which spell, several of which can easily break the encounter wide open.

Really liked the game. A simple idea but incredible execution. Also love how the game is essentially the free trial for more stories told in this way

I’ve played the demo and it was terrifying.
Are you sure there is no monster? I could swear there was a launch trailer with a monster in it
- Comment on Starfield's first DLC is one of the worst Bethesda and DLCs of all time 1 month ago:
Hey im all for giving Bethesda shit for publishing an incredibly bland game, but 8 reviews hardly seem like a solid foundation to make that title

I don’t even have a 144 Hz screen
- Comment on 2024 is about 75% done. Let's recommend the best games of 2024, but with a twist: only the ones with no paid DLC! 1 month ago:
I’m happy the game is getting some love. Played the demo and thought the game was really unique and solid in what it wanted to be. Sadly my financial situation limits my budget for games otherwise I would have bought it just to show some support for the studio

Do they just keep your earning in your account until one month your total outstanding earnings breach the 100$ threshold and you’ll receive all your earning in one transaction or does this money get swallowed by steam?

The time capsule was such a cool idea to integrate asymmetrical multiplayer into the world

I’m so happy. The game just seems like good old-fashioned fun
- Comment on Any good games that break the mold 2 months ago:
Those are totally valid point and I thank you for making them. I need to see whether parts of the game feel tense which is fine, or they make me physically impossible for me to play, since some sort of description of blood and venes just makes my head spin and knocks me out sometimes.
I get the great artistic picture and how the game is not meant to be nice, since it does not deal with nice themes. I’m happy the artistic vision got through and it seems to be a succes based on community response

Quality would be a new criteria which I wanted to exclude in scale. Sure the quality of it all ain’t great but there are a lot of poeple who enjoy gigantic maps, no matter how bland.

I’m so exited for Avowed to show me how else a skyrim like game can look and feel.

All your points are valid, but people might not judge the game based on your criteria. One could rate the game in Scale, Artistic vision or Gear progression and would not land on a 1 out of 10. Surely not on a 10/10 but definitly not on a 1. Even in your categories you have a strong bias. IMO there is no way you can give linearity a 1/10. Sure all of the sidestuff is not great but it’s there. A game with the lowest score in linearity does not even have options. Like one Mario level and that’s it.
