Dungeons of Hinterburg might fit the bill. Just released. Looks and plays well. It is an action rpg with social sim elements set in the Alps.

Same. Nature doesn’t need some greater purpose or plan. It is pretty great all on it’s own. That is why I absolutely love Nonlinear Dynamics so much.
