I thought I was imagining this until I put a 1080p episode on one monitor and a 1080p YT vid on another. The difference was night and day.

Thankfully I am, but I was born and raised on the coast, so I know the pain of a 44°C day at close to 100% humidity.

My PC kept my room warm all winter, I now dread the incoming sun. Thank God for AC. Sorry for your loss there sir.

Metric system is best system, no exceptions.
Anything over 40°C is fuckin’ hot, anything under 4°C is fuckin’ cold.

I’m taking a dual-boot route, it does have it’s issues. Unfortunately due to work related and gaming reasons I can’t let go of it just yet.
I went with Linux Mint and I’ve been happy as Larry since I got used to it. But distro hop until you find your fit I’d say, I had spare hardware I was distro-hopping with and Mint just fit me best I think.
You’re spot on with Ventoy, it’s a huge boon. I only recently became aware of it, absolutely love it already. I highly recommend giving it a go.
Awesome writeup, I’ll likely refer to it in future.

I’m waiting till I see a good price on a 5900x/5950x for the rig I recently built with 5800x, the 5800x rips though I will keep it and do another build with it.

As much as I would love if they did exactly that, I much prefer the public humiliation that Gina Rinehart is experiencing.
All this faffing about trying to get it removed is only drawing more eyeballs to the piece, and I love that shit with my whole heart.

Welcome to the good life, with the exception of VR and (rootkit) anticheat for multiplayer, it’s all smiles over here.
Hope Mint treats you as well as it’s treated me! (Even though most of my tinkering breaks stuff, reinstall incoming I suspect)

- Comment on Fallout 4 6 months ago:
The Blitz perk allows you to teleport short distances to attack with VATS, when you put a second level into the Blitz perk the range is significantly larger.
I have a grognak the barbarian build that I added blitz to, it is fucking hilarious and one shots most things, if you put enough points into AP you can teleport to multiple targets in one go.
Absolutely sickening level of badass. Blitz can be unlocked at level 3 I believe.

You can do a teleporting melee build my guy, the skills REALLY open it up, get creative.

Honestly mate it’s a case of shopping around.
For instance, look up a bunch of reviews, go into a bunch of commercial places and ask who does their cleaning (if it meets your standards of course). Most commercial cleaning companies also do domestic work, you can also in some instances get a single clean done, whatever areas you do/don’t want cleaned and see what the final cost is.
Cleaning company I used to work for almost always overquoted, on the grounds that we gave the worst possible out come in terms of price, and most clients were pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
There are also many who underquote to lure clients so don’t rush in finding a good cleaner.
- Comment on I'd just be glad they were happy together 7 months ago:
In a pinch yeah, or just use bleach and scrub, mold killer if need be, you can get brushes meant for grout also.

Former cleaner here, most peoples bathrooms look like that, I used to tell folks to get a professional in to get it to a good state, then it’s just maintaining it.
