I don’t know, one of the reasons they’re decrying everyone running the APK is they claim they’ve made a bunch of “bespoke alterations” to the AOSP version they’re using

This video by CGP Grey goes into it a bit more, but split brain patients have even had their two halves disagree. For example the conscious hand picking out something to wear then the other hand batting it away and picking something else. It’s quite fascinating to read about.

Maybe pig butchering scams? John Oliver did a piece on them recently that was pretty enlightening, but this wiki summarizes it okay: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig_butchering_scam

The best thing I’ve ever done was get a phone plan with call control. Basically before my phone even rings the person on the end gets prompted with a random number they have to press on their phone to connect. My number of spam calls has gone from several a day to two total calls in the last month.

I don’t mean to be insensitive but what’s keeping you at a job that hasn’t given you a raise in 9 years? I would have been polishing up my resume after year 2s review with nothing to show for it

The RCMP’s origins are from a government paramilitary organization which was effectively used as a tool for indigenous oppression.
- Comment on Why Everyone Should Still Use an RSS Reader in 2024 2 months ago:
Podcasts are actually typically primarily served by RSS, whatever podcast app you are using just indexes them and manages downloads. So typically you can go to the website of the podcast, e.g darknetdiaries.com/subscribe/ and if you scroll down on the subscribe page you’ll see a link to their rss feed. Just copy the link from the feed into whatever reader you use and you’ll be updated in your reader app when new episodes are released.
