I do technically have that already, so it would mean just another copy. We settled for now on Luma Island, for pirates! Or something!
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 3 days ago:
Yeah, we were running into that issue, a lot of the games we’d like are singleplayer! Alas alas!

Graveyard Keeper! It’s fun although it’s annoying figuring out where my latest upgrades are. Is the new machine in the yard? Basement? Church basement??? Morgue??? Guh.
I’m also still looking for a game for me and twin to play together. We like farming sims like Stardew Valley, Sun Haven, etc. We both like rogue likes and lites but don’t really like playing those together.

Midnight Suns was a delight and I’m sad we’re probably never ever getting a sequel.
- Comment on Would-be City of Heroes successor, Ship of Heroes, decides to launch the MMO with a $45 price tag and a $15 monthly subscription and it's, er, going about as well as you'd expect 1 week ago:
I like no voice chat, but I have had absolutely horrible times with voice chats.
My main character was a scrapper martial artist. I just mostly remember I managed to make her covered with clothes from head to toe and shrouded in shadows. “What was that blur of smoke?” one might ask. “It’s me! Here to punch!” nyoom nyoom was my living. And punching.

I had played quite a bit of early access and had exhausted most (not all) the then content and I started up a run and already was seeing new so that was a delight!

…you know what, I think I’ll go play City of Heroes again.

I had a bitterant put on my hands and now I just like bitter flavors lol

Where did you get only like 20? Everywhere I look to buy them I have to buy like 2500 at a time. Or am I misunderstanding?

I know almost all my meds by the generic names because I’m broke and that’s what the pharmacy will give me. Ibuprofen, levothyroxine, etc. Alprazolam.
- Comment on Day 430 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 2 weeks ago:
I loved both games! So much fun.

We do though? Just once.
- Comment on xkcd #3143: Question Mark 2 weeks ago:
I’ve heard some people use it when they don’t have the rising inflection in their voice that usually denotes a question. I’ve also used and seen it used to mean dubious claim as the other poster mentioned! Not very commonly though.

Oh, wonder what’ll happen to Twilight Wars.

I still think of that scene at least once a month and giggle!
- Comment on Do you ever feel full and hungry simultaneously? 3 weeks ago:
Samesies. It’s a horrible relation with food. I’m always thinking about what I’m going to eat next, even as I’m eating.
- Comment on YSK about 15 bean soup. 3 weeks ago:
I found a rock in a bag of beans twice in my life. My mother found one when I was a cold and made sure I saw why we look through them first.
Then as an adult. Once. I got to go AHA and grab it.
I’ve seen blood in chicken eggs much more commonly!

Palia had an update recently that added ranching and possibly better home building so I’ve been doing that with twin.
Haven’t tried the home building yet cause I need to prepare for it. It’s extensive!

Oh my goodness glad I didn’t hear that before getting the shots. I’m already a K cup, my back would grind into dust if that happened!

Are they green? My brain is reading them as a brown orangey color.
Very pretty even if my colors are confused!
- Comment on sweet temptations 4 weeks ago:
This reminds me of this flower that use to grow at a third cousin’s house. They had these seed pods on them that when they were uh, ripe, they’d explode violently at a touch! So as a kid we’d do that and watch them explode, or take slightly less ready ones and throw them at the ground to burst them like little fireworks.

Phone as well!
- Comment on The recent Steam censorship debacle actually sort of opened me up to adult games. 5 weeks ago:
It was wild being raised by my mother who didn’t mind if I saw consensual sex, because I should eventually have sex, but restricted all violence because ideally I’ll never see violence in person.
I have no idea how good this is a philosophy for raising children. Sample size is too small.

I’ve found some of my favorite smaller games from watching twitch streams of people searching for new games.
It’s got to be miserable to make a game and know its probably going to be lost in the sea.
My favorites are Heaven’s Vault, Astronaut: The Best, and Wazhack.

I war just thinking of two doctors I met in pertain but yes, some of them in the news as well!
The one I remember the most had some really…interesting ideas about food safety and only stopped some of them when I pointed out food safety knowledge has been furthered since her grandmother’s time. Just like. You know. Medicine has.
