- Comment on Nier creator Yoko Taro reveals the sad reality of modern AAA game development, “there’s less weird people making games” 21 hours ago:
I have. Watched two beings play it. I sincerely hope the person(s) who made that game make more games.
- Comment on Dear Kevin 2 days ago:
Well I still remember Roy G. Biv and Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally so maybe?
- Comment on Why do some people hate drinking water? 4 days ago:
My husband hates drinking water because his parents only gave him water to drink when he was sick. Otherwise it was all juice and milk.
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 1 week ago:
Got Children of Morta on sale and been enjoying it. Doing horribly, but enjoying it!
- Comment on Haunted Chocolatier will have a larger world than Stardew Valley, creator confirms 1 week ago:
This is by far my most wanted game. I love cooking so much. I love desserts. I love Stardew Valley entirely.
Gimme
Gimme gimme
- Comment on Steam Next Fest has started once again. What good demos have you found? 1 week ago:
I tried it out and man I hate getting motion sickness from games. Got the ship ready to go and launched and instant hurgh stomach. Unfortunate, as it looks real cool!
- Comment on "Can i ask you for a favor?" Is it rude to say no? 1 week ago:
I was taught to say “Depends on the favor” but was also told that’s rude…but by someone who wanted a favor so maybe we can discount that opinion.
- Comment on where are worker rights parades? why are we focusing on very limited issues? 1 week ago:
It’s such a haunting poem. It is engraved into a monument in my childhood hometown.
- Comment on Dune: Awakening — Official Launch Trailer 1 week ago:
The more I see it, the less I want it. It’s unfortunate, love the setting but Conan exiles gameplay seems so tedious overall.
- Comment on The first weekly What Are You Playing? thread! 2 weeks ago:
It certainly looks like it would fill the Skyrim void my brain sometimes has! But also new story that I might finish because I hated skyrims one mostly.
- Comment on xkcd #3097: Bridge Types 2 weeks ago:
It’s a very iconic scene in the book, it’s still indelibly written in my brain. I really recommend the book.
- Comment on It's a mysteria 2 weeks ago:
The thing I remember listeria getting into for my food manager safety cert was underheated nacho cheese and deli meats!
- Comment on I had to look at it so you do too 3 weeks ago:
Extremely true, we’d all be happier never having seen it.
- Comment on Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy - Announcement Trailer 4 weeks ago:
Hmm interesting! This was the setting I’ve played the most in the tabletop game. Fun times.
- Comment on Wait, that game is still playable online? 4 weeks ago:
There’s a number of mud games still around in their text glory. Love me a text mmo. Well most aren’t massive. None are massive. Hence mud, multi user dungeon. But not massively multi user.
I currently play Starmourn which is very new by mud standards.

Me and my twin were leashed. I didn’t know it, so I guess we weren’t affected by that too much. Just other stuff in childhood. It was difficult for mother to control twins if she took us out alone so leashes it was.
Other people were so shitty to her about it though.
- Comment on No need to hurt me, GOG :( 4 weeks ago:
I hate the inexorable passage of time, thanks!
- Comment on [deleted] 4 weeks ago:
Oh they’re always clean cut! I’ll try moistening the needle over the thread next time, but it’s always so finicky.
- Comment on [deleted] 4 weeks ago:
Good to know! I was taught as a child because raised female, and its helped more over the years than I thought it would! And repairing rips along seams came up several times!
I still hate threading the needles.
- Comment on Is your sleep schedule actually messed up, or are you just aligned with a different timezone? 5 weeks ago:
There’s been times me and husband pass in the night because we simply slept different schedules. It’s annoying but eventually they realigned!
- Comment on We’re finally getting our first glimpse of 12-year-old Camelot Unchained since last year in today’s dev stream | Massively Overpowered 1 month ago:
I miss Warhammer Online. Sometimes I play the fanserver, but the feeling is not there. The past is impossible to get back to, sadly. Still nice to visit though!
- Comment on What is your favorite indie game? 1 month ago:
You might enjoy Heaven’s Vault since you’ve played Chants of Sennaar! It’s languagerific.
Janky though at times, movement wise
- Comment on [deleted] 1 month ago:
If you are going long term, they’re going to age before you. Are you ready to take care of them while you’re still healthy? Prepared to watch them get older? I dunno I’m just maudlin though, my husband is 16 years older than me, thinking about the future makes me scared for him.
- Comment on Recommendations for "girly" games? 1 month ago:
Uhhh can give a game with no combat, but it doesn’t have the rest. Well, female player character helps too, right? Heaven’s Vault is a game about Aliyah and her traveling the rivers of the universe and finding artifacts or writing written in ancient and translating it. I like it, some prime find parts very janky. Can’t die, I’ve tried in the few areas she can take damage.
- Comment on A new Starcraft game is on the way from the publishers of Dave The Diver and The Finals, according to reports 1 month ago:
That was not a title I thought I’d read??
- Comment on If I snapped you back in time 650 years right this very second, how would you use your current knowledge to succeed? 1 month ago:
Yeah, I’m here thinking my ass in America pre Columbian exchange is not doing well. Maybe if I make it clear somehow I do not want to do anything but help I could…idk, be part of a native tribe and maybe give them a slight help to the upcoming horrors for them?
It’s not going well for anyone.
- Comment on Dune Awakening - Story Trailer 1 month ago:
I only got to play a bit of The Secret World (or was it Legends or something?) and it was really fun! I was sad I had found it at the end of life. My memory is bad, so my only real memory was er…I was helping around some Haunted Indian Reservation, and the daughter of the owner was rightfully complaining about people coming in and white knighting (and being male) and we panned over to my character…chinese ass woman standing there. And it acknowledge that! She was like “Guess not all the time though” and it was like!!! Excellent!!!
- Comment on Dune Awakening - Story Trailer 1 month ago:
Alternate universe shenanigans. Is how it looks to me. Especially given bene stuff is not limited to women. Or the order. Somehow.
- Comment on What's the point in getting married? 1 month ago:
Luckily no, because legally we do not want to be married. It would make most stuff more difficult.
My husband is an ‘adult disabled since childhood’. If he marries anyone but another ‘adult disabled since childhood’ he loses all government benefits. Which he’s currently using to you know. Survive.
But given the way the governments going he might lose it anyway so maybe we’ll get married then before dying. Or something.
- Comment on What's the point in getting married? 1 month ago:
I am not married to my husband for legal reasons. This means when he dies, his family could take everything and leave me with nothing as I’m “just the girlfriend”. Now, a will can help, but I dread what would happen because they still could fight it and it sucks. Being legally married basically shuts that down entirely.
