I only ever buy whole milk and its still so variable! I tell it whenever I put it in the fridge to be good, but it does not listen.

It really varies wildly with milk, at least for me. I’ve had it be good for a week after the date, and sometimes it’s already bad a day or two before the date. Always gotta test it!

It is so hard to make the Donner Party fiasco happen in Oregon Trail 2. You have to go at the slowest pace and be unlucky. Otherwise you hit the pass early and no snow yet so you’re fine, or die before then. Getting the sweet spot was so difficult.

Mamaw made bacon. That’s all she taught us, how to make ‘pop-pop’, our toddler name for bacon.
Omah couldn’t cook and was very proud of that lol.
Mother could cook but thought she couldn’t. Dad was a line cook (for a short time) so mom compared herself to him. She was fine.
Mother and grandmother were so proud of my being a good baker. Sometimes. Sometimes mother was jealous.

Are you sure? If that happened with no buildup I’d find it hilarious!

I read candles at first and not candy and was concerned.
I love werthers though!

Unfortunately my brain was consumed entirely by “must get outside” so I didn’t take a picture! Imagine a frog like creature a not larger than a quarter?
How big were the half dollars. That maybe?

Last night a…toad, or maybe a frog, hopped onto my bed.
I was laying down facing the edge of the bed and wall, without my glasses on, reading the phone.
The bed them shakes a bit and I hear a tiny thump.
But the cat can’t be in here, the door is closed. I look around. There is now a lump near the very top edge of the bed.
A large bug???
No, a fucking frog like thing! A shock! They don’t come inside.
With a solo cup and a piece of paper he was put outside near my tomato plants.

Could also be a medieval retelling of the story of Judith who put a spike through an opposing generals head.

Jefferson, despite all the media I consumed as a child that loved…glazing is the term I hear now, he creeped me the fuck out.

Playing Palia still. My shimmering riffroc grew up so I can ride him now which is cool. He’s the prettiest one. I have yet to find a jam plushie from harvesting an apple tree despite me having three of them. I’m playing Slice and Dice on my phone despite not buying it yet. I don’t have like the 9 dollars the full game wants lol.

Palia released a new adventure zone so I’ve been playing that with twin. There sure are some bugs (and not just the collecting kind) but after the first few hours the game did get a bit more stable lol. I’m slowly working on jadium chests.
