I’d use Hitler for a meme if it was funny, using an image of a person doesn’t mean you agree or even are aware of who that person is or what their beliefs are
Sometimes you just gotta let go of all that useless hate and enjoy things
- Comment on ChatGPT provides false information about people, and OpenAI can’t correct it 1 week ago:
It’s not actually deciding everything, the AI thinking is marketing fluff really. But yes that’s called confidence rating and it does. But at the scale of something like chatgpt that uses a snapshot of the entire internet and is non mutable there’s no way to train it for every possible question. If you ask about a topic 99% of the internet gets wrong it’ll respond the wrong thing with 99% confidence
- Comment on ChatGPT provides false information about people, and OpenAI can’t correct it 1 week ago:
Was gonna say, the AI doesn’t make up or admit bullshit, its just a very advanced a prediction algorithm. It responds with what the combination of words that is most likely the expected answer.
Wether that is accurate or not is part of training it but you’ll never get 100% accuracy to any query

- Comment on Say hello to biodegradable microplastics: Plant-based polymers that can disappear within seven months 3 weeks ago:
I guess a month life cycle would be enough in that case. I mean you have to include transport and storage time before it gets to the shelves with fresh food in it
- Comment on Say hello to biodegradable microplastics: Plant-based polymers that can disappear within seven months 3 weeks ago:
What could this genuinely be used for? Wouldn’t you have to use it on stuff that will be discarded before it starts breaking up a few months in?
- Comment on apep 4 weeks ago:
Well if we’re discussing semantics you could say you’re targeting it directly at the sun by using a trajectory that doesn’t aim to slingshot or orbit around other planetary bodies first

I don’t think games like the original mass effect trilogy are allowed to exist with a modern publisher anymore
We’ll be lucky if it’s not an always online bugfest with 50 expansion packs and a focus on multiplayer
- Comment on This was the first result on Google 1 month ago:
Sounds like an AI trained on random people in the internet answering questions while not actually knowing anything about the subject

His argument is that the average person won’t know any better and will just take the first sponsored result for “free VPN” of Google
