That’s truly the only reason it exists.
- Comment on QLD Digital Licence Now Available 1 year ago:
I’m not sure whether requests are encrypted, but the app itself says that it refreshed from tmr data on the main page. Of course this could just be a lie however.
- Comment on QLD Digital Licence Now Available 1 year ago:
At the least I can confirm it checks the licence each time you sign in by connecting to the tmr.
- Comment on QLD Digital Licence Now Available 1 year ago:
Definitely is, just check in every now and then over the week as I’ve gotten in already so it’s definitely working.

Yes democracy. Point being that most no voters aren’t racist but fully have zero empathy for minority groups in this country and wouldn’t dare lift a finger.

Thanks, sadly I’ve learned a lot about my country and my local areas in how they’ve polled

Lots of people do care about this and find it important.

With any luck it would have meant something to mine. I’m devastated.

I asked for one and put it in the bin.

Yep, there’s eligibility requirements, but in practice that means just lie about a reasonable one for you.
- Comment on Coroners frustrated recommendations on Indigenous suicide ignored by government, report shows 1 year ago:
There can never be enough ways to force parliament to respond to an issue, but they could of course let it sit in the gazette and never respond to it. It’s my hope though that the high court will weigh on this and say that response is a requirement to fulfill the spirit of the amendment.

What a sad day it is 😂

Yep, the caveat is if you’re voting interstate you need to find an interstate voting centre. If you go through the aec site and hit I don’t live in X state it will show you the interstate centres.

Ooo will there be how to vote
cuntsbeautiful people hanging about at the polls? - Comment on Referendum Q+A thread 1 year ago:
You can check the aec site to see what is opening near you. My local will open shortly for early voting, but a few nearby opened on the second.
- Comment on Coroners frustrated recommendations on Indigenous suicide ignored by government, report shows 1 year ago:
I’m a yes supporter and aboriginal. This same recommendation would get ignored by parliament if recommended by a voice. Inquires and commissions not being listened to by govts will still exist with a voice and will still happen when it’s the voice issuing those recommendations.
We’re talking about a lever more than anything against the government. It’s still up to regular Australians to take up the cause, to protest and to drive change by directly voicing to representatives. The fact we vote in people who don’t care enough to listen to the recommendations of commissioners and coroners is a whole problem as well.

Banning stuff does stop it, see Hitler (existing) or horses on highways.

The level of distraction is one thing, but the level of dexterity is different. It’s a lot easier to drive straight looking at a phone (or even interacting with one) that’s in a cradle.

I agree completely. At some point you have to draw the line. Labor should go all out ad wise, fuck off stage 3 and tell everyone the deal. If we are to lose an election over it then we’re fucked as a country, so much money our country desperately needs that we are pissing into the wind.
