Tusky is my by far favorite social media app of all time, if you got a Android phone you should definitely try that! There are some truly cool people still stuck with Twitter but once you get into Mastodon you start to realize how much better the over all environment is, turns out social media doesn’t actually have to make you mad or sad! :)

Go back to Reddit, your delusional world view suites that shithole a lot better!

You can’t drive away the Russian bots, then people would see how bad Musk truly fucked up!

Let’s hope so, countries like Hungary, Poland and Spain absolutely love the idea, Germany seems undecidet and I think France is on board too

It’s a lot of countries but the EU has a ongoing attempt called Chatcontroll as well.

Sadly European politicians seem especially old, I would be surprised if they know what Uber means!

Because you would always send the pages of the website you visit to a third party, that’s information noone should know!

America is just stupid to rwfuse standards here…
- Comment on iPhone 15 overheating reports, with temperatures as high as 116F 1 year ago:
It has a battery directly next to the CPU, you can’t compare that to a desktop or Laptop and will take damage FAR sooner, especially conaidering what a pain “modern” smartphones are to repair, even something trivial like the battery almost requires a specialist!
- Comment on iPhone 15 overheating reports, with temperatures as high as 116F 1 year ago:
I had one of those smartphones ages ago and it was awful, one of the updates made it lag so terrible they somewhat fixed that a little in the next few updates! I bet that was intentional to get me to buy a new phone, not a iPhone fan ether tho.
- Comment on What do you think of framework and their methods? 1 year ago:
Yea, they are a lot smaller and not that far yet but also a really cool project and definitely worth supporting too! It’s not exactly the same kind of device (you do need a certain amount of knowledge to fix stuff) but also very repairable, unlike with the Fairphone I don’t know anyone who owns one tho so I can’t say that much about it.

Louis is a really cool guy but to link his old rant video and leave out the newer favorable one where he literally talks about them releaseing shematics as firt smartphone manufacturer ever is a really shitty move!!!
- Comment on What do you think of framework and their methods? 1 year ago:
They still have a SD card reader up to fucking 2TB but got rid of the headphone jack in favor of a little more water proofing, not my favorite decition but certainly not a reason to call the only even remotely fair phone with some actual fair trade and recycled materials and unfair…

The new one launched with the privacy friendly /e/OS and initial PostmarketOS (Linux) support…

- Comment on Valve: don’t expect a faster Steam Deck ‘in the next couple of years’ 1 year ago:
The WiiU wasn’t more powerful than the competition but the old ones where, they gave up on compeating in terms of specs with the Wii and the Swit h uses a mobile processor that was old and slow even when it came out and can easily be surpassed by most phones if it wasn’t for the insane optimisation. They continue to proof that games matter more than specs and that’s a very profitable and well working strategy so idk where you got those rumors from but I am 99% sure the next switch will have a relatively slow ARM processor again and there is nothing wromg with that if it’s enough fun, it just requires a lot of work from the game developers that not all of them are willing to put in. About the typos, no keyboard in the world can fix my drunken typing and I am fairly happy with mine but thanks for the suggestion I guess…
- Comment on Valve: don’t expect a faster Steam Deck ‘in the next couple of years’ 1 year ago:
Only waiting for new generations of GPUs and CPUs can help there I guess, those usually push things a lot in a performance per wat comparison!
- Comment on Valve: don’t expect a faster Steam Deck ‘in the next couple of years’ 1 year ago:
Nintendo never makes anyhow powerful devices, they juat rely wntirely on developer optimization and only certain dwvelopers are willing to put in the time well and money to publiah for their propriatary and expensive frameworks in the first place.

Since I switched to a instance that block Hexbear I can get a little political without too many issues, I am a far left anti capitalist tho, I just really dislike facists with a bit of red paint!
