Indeed. It’s a privilege to be able to stay inside your little circle and say “we don’t do politics” or “ no ideology here”.
- Comment on GitHub - LadybirdBrowser/ladybird: Truly independent web browser 1 week ago:
Don’t think we should be scared of the word “political” or “ideology”.

Looks like a confused Swedish dude that when questioned about his use of English pronouns defaults to not wanting to get political. Is there more besides a misguided decision to avoid relevant political topics?
I think we should chastise people that insist on not getting political, but not necessarily boycott everything they do. Or at least we should apply the same moral demands to Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft or Google when choosing which browsers to support. Which of them is the least bad?

Gotta save some info to doxx public officials for your crazy militia groups to take care of. That’s probably plan B when all the executive orders get blocked.

The current status quo is also not sustainable, so they have to try some solutions. There’s an opportunity to go from actual federation to paid subscriptions and none of those will solve everything.

- Comment on Why are so many leaders in tech evil? 6 months ago:
Shareholders want the CEO that gets them more money. If that person doesn’t deliver, they don’t ask why, they ask when. If they don’t like the answer, they get a new CEO. Rinse repeat, here we are.
Except Zuckerberg, of course. He’s just evil.

This might be a best case scenario. It won’t happen, Mozilla has been turned into a corporate funds receiver for years. That CEO compensation doesn’t pay for itself. Imagine paying for actual software engineering work.

That’s literally how the alt right works. Spot the right environment where things can gradually escalate from a comment or a private message.
