Lazy for not wanting to have 6 different accounts and launchers? Nah. It’s easier to just get a pirated version than trying to remember which service you bought what on.

Convenience, the whole reason piracy took a backseat for a few years. Inconvenient? Hit the seas.

if you’ve got a kid old enough to be using a phone, but not old enough to know about sex, and you haven’t enabled parental controls, you have other things to worry about. or they’re old enough to look at whatever they please.
- Comment on Pornhub blocks North Carolina and Montana as porn regulation spreads 10 months ago:
sure, but it’s not going to curb the curiosity 100%. and it’s not just sex sites, kids don’t need to see sites like crazyshit.com, etc until they’re at least mature enough.
- Comment on Pornhub blocks North Carolina and Montana as porn regulation spreads 10 months ago:
Most routers have parental controls. We sites have categories, and you can explicitly block those sites. You can use 3rd party dns tools like nextdns. Lots of parental software you can install that can limit PC use, sites, tracking, etc. you can blacklist sites too. Lots of granular control and access levels so you don’t block yourself too.

Hdd wont be obsolete for awhile. They’re the best media to store large libraries cost effectively. Until there are 10+TB SSDS with reasonable prices, many people with home storage systems won’t upgrade. Not shelling out $10k for SSDS, sorry.

Hell of a deal. i started using refurb drives, still 5 year warranty, because I was going through so many. Sometimes you get them half off.

I have ads blocked on nearly everything, but when I was at a client where they are not blocked, I got an ad for something I was talking about the week before. Don’t remember it, but it happened exactly as you said.
