You’re not getting your pinky in an AR-15 barrel. .2 inch or half a centimeter basically.

I’ve installed Linux mint cinnamon on some PCs for other people. It’s okay. I still run into errors and difficulties but for your average non techie person it might work if someone else gets them started.

Yeah I’m thinking about leaving Lemmy. Not sure where to go but this place does not have diversity of thought or dialog.

In the Bible they wanted to kill him many times but he always slipped away. He wasn’t arrested until he gave himself to the authorities. The ATF wouldn’t catch him if he didn’t want to be caught. But I’m sure they’d destroy lots of people, animals and property regardless.

Well it’s clearly not a sex product (or at least not intended to be). If it was a sex product they would have obviously added the third X - XXXTRA HARD!

I came here to make sure someone had said this. I usually have a wolf spiderbro in my bathroom. I talked to one this morning in fact, he was a new, smaller one though. They’re great. Eat bugs, no webs. Not significantly dangerous at all.

I don’t think I mentioned volume anywhere. I don’t make any sound when I drink soup. Why would I not just drink the broth after I’m done eating the solid bits out of the soup? Are you bound by some crazy social rules that no one actually should be bound by? You really need to ask yourself these questions. I am most certainly not bound by any of those societal bullshits.

You don’t need a spoon. It’s in a bowl. You eat the solid bits with chopsticks then pick up the bowl and drink it! It’s not rocket science.

Looks like a 200 year old joint. I once found a 20 year old joint in a graduation card we’d never opened. We still smoked it, probably had lost some potency but it still tasted fine and it worked as expected.

I have been installing Linux on a number of my work PCs that I manage. Most of them are pretty straightforward, office products, printing, web, basic video player. But my personal PCs have so many different programs installed for different niche uses that it’s been a massive roadblock to me switching over. I know it’s coming because I’m not moving to Windows 11 even though my PC is compatible in theory. But man is it going to take me a lot of time to figure out all of the different screen capture, video editing, audio extraction and editing, disc imaging, photo editing etc. I know I can figure it out, but it’s about the time. I have a huge steam library too,but most of that should work.
Any of you playing Fallout London on Linux?

Do you have a tower PC? I have a stack of DVD read/write drives +/- that I need to get rid of pretty soon, I won’t have a place to store them after the next couple of months. I’d offer to ship you one, but I have to put an asterisk in there. The last time I offered to ship a guy some RAM it turned out there was a lot of international barriers and it was going to cost me about 10 times with the RAM was worth to ship it to him, with no guarantee he’d actually receive it. So… ?

My last console was a N64. I still play those old games on occasion. My PC gaming experience isn’t equalled by consoles. I’d actually buy a Blu-ray player for my PC, it’s connected to my TV and sound system - but I hate most of the movies made today. Maybe I still will, just to preserve some old classics in my library.
- Comment on If buying it isn't owning it... 3 months ago:
I haven’t bought a console since the N64, PC gaming has just been better ever since. I still have my N64 and NES though.
- Comment on If buying it isn't owning it... 3 months ago:
Thing is, nobody owns a Blu-ray player.

Has there been released test data regarding whether or not there was a y chromosome? That seems to be the question that I have heard, and last that I heard it wasn’t resolved. I know this isn’t a popular opinion on lemmy, but I can understand the question.
