- Comment on Study: 83% of Americans will have to work into their 70s in order to afford to retire 1 week ago:
80s probably. They’ll put us in Tokyo style bunk rooms and one meal a day if we aren’t the elite.
- Comment on The fine art of negotiation 1 week ago:
If this was Taco Tuesday I’d do the math. But it’s the weekend, so no.
- Comment on When monkeys feel ill! 1 week ago:
I shouldn’t be such an ass. Lots of people use mum! And some good friends of mine.
- Comment on When monkeys feel ill! 1 week ago:
Not very many humans use the word mum, statistically.

I wish they’d realize faster.

To be fair, there are naked ladies in the Bible too.

- Comment on shrimp is bugs 2 months ago:
I have a very open view towards food that is served to me (in good faith). If you honor me by serving me a meal you enjoy I will eat it, whatever it is. If you serve me live cockroaches while laughing I’m not going to say what I’d do, bad faith gets bad actions. But I never choose to eat shrimp unless they’re served to me. I ate some last week unfortunately. In context, it wasn’t terrible.
- Comment on If people from the US love the imperial system so much, why are their musicians using metronomes instead of footonomes? 2 months ago:
I think they’re all just pissed that fahrenheit is so ridiculously superior

Tell me more about why I should vote for whoever is controlling that senile figurehead.
- Comment on we have a problem 2 months ago:
I’m just thinking Elon Musk got tired of being pissed on and decided to drop some dinosaur bones on the moon to fuck with everybody else. If this were actually true I’d give him a little respect.
- Comment on Can homeless people be fined for sleeping outside? A rural Oregon city asks the US Supreme Court 2 months ago:
Sometimes I sleep outside in my own backyard because I sleep outside as often as I can. The real problem is lack of access to restrooms etc.
- Comment on Turn up the heat 2 months ago:
I generally agree with metric superiority, but 38° is such a random temperature. Whereas if you’re over 100 you’re too hot. Fahrenheit is the superior temperature unit. Fight me.

It’s so weird to see anything from Cincinnati on here.
- Comment on US to end 'gun show loophole' that allows sales without background checks 2 months ago:
What a terribly written article, it almost makes me wonder if it is AI. Not that I expected a well informed article on US gun law from the BBC. Even the grammar is awful, the following phrase is formatted as a paragraph:
“Around 80,000 licensed firearms dealers in the US who are already required to conduct background checks.”
Not to mention it’s full of generally bad information and as you pointed out they failed to capture the miniscule scope of what this change will actually accomplish.

Way longer than that. Really they had lost ground and wanted their slaves back but they’re trying to turn us all into slaves.

I took a placebo when I saw this post and I can’t believe how high I am right now. I did eat a couple of edibles though too.

This is what I use but it takes 4-5 hrs usually.

I remember the show but I had never seen that scene. Thank you!
- Comment on IRS has launched its free tax filing service, Direct File, in 12 states 3 months ago:
I don’t think I’d be able to use this service even if it existed in my state, my self-employed taxes are apparently too complicated even though I currently only have one contract/employer. They need to simplify the tax code.
- Comment on I believe it. 3 months ago:
I came to comment about the same, but it’s not Angelina Jolie, it’s actually a giant statue of Lara Croft. My theory is one of the artifacts she found sent her back in time.
- Comment on Reddit has reportedly signed over its content to train AI models 4 months ago:
Good thing I had multiple bots overwrite my content before I deleted it all. Not that someone couldn’t recover it, I’m not naive. But the AI bots should miss me.
