Yes, I understand how monero works. Yeah you’ll get away with buying some groceries or whatever with it, but people who go through bankruptcy (especially who aren’t rich, and are felons) have a close eye from the government on their finances. If you try to buy a house or a car or anything actually life changing with that, you’re pretty likely to get caught and charged with fraud etc.

Yes, people often/usually drop the g in quick/casual speech, but most regions I have heard do pronounce it when speaking slower or more formally.
- Comment on What the hell! Let's all just go crazy! 11 months ago:
In UK/Australia/NZ we pronounce it as written, with the l.

It does, but if it has compromised the BIOS before that, that won’t get wiped.

You don’t understand why people might more frequently discuss the actions of someone with enormous power and influence, than they would those of Darryl from high school?

Why would you ever choose a coffee mug and a knife as your dish and utensil? That doesn’t work for any food… And a deep plate/wide bowl + fork would work for basically everything.

- Comment on Military Time vs 24hr? 1 year ago:
Most countries that use 24h time (Western Europe, ime) use both interchangeably - saying “at 18” or “at six in the evening” are both totally normal.
- Comment on Pfizer says it will price Covid treatment Paxlovid at nearly $1,400 for a five-day course, which researchers estimate only costs Pfizer $13 to produce. That's a 10,000%+ markup. Shameful. 1 year ago:
The world used to think the US was cool. Mainstream public opinion changed roughly around the bush (W) era.
- Comment on Black Mirror creator unafraid of AI because it’s “boring” 1 year ago:
AI has been being developed for 50 years and the best we can do so far is a dunning-kruger sim. Sure, who knows what it “can do” at some point, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Unless we invent extreme life extension and make it available to everyone and they all want it, yeah, that’s guaranteed, current path or no
