Loved the game and might even buy it again one day just to replay it on Steam Deck, but only if it comes on GOG
- Comment on Revisiting the Mass Effect Trilogy (with mods!) 2 months ago:
I fully agree! In Mass Effect 3 you really feel like a part of the crew!
In the others too but a tad less. Still walking around the ship has always been a pleasure that I haven’t really found in any other game.

The Mass Effect trilogy is so great and the Legendary Edition is perfect on Steam Deck. You can even lower the TDP to improve battery life and still get good graphics.
I rep’ayed them a few months ago and I was real’y impressed by the scale of it.
To be honnest, Mass Effect is some kind of Cyberpunk 2077 with better gameplay and story.
People don’t like the third one, but for me it was the best one.

Thanks to you, I managed to downgrade the game and I have now gotten a few achievements.

I got an answer and it’s pretty easy so I’m posting it here for anyone facing such a problem.
Go to « : », « modify installation », « keep the game at specific version », « select game version ».
I’ll check the next week if the downgrade fixed the issue and report back.

Thanks a lot! If it doesn’t mean restarting the game, now I’ll just have to find a way to downgrade a game through Heroic. Would you know how to do it?
I can only find the ignore update option for now and apparently the rollback feature is only available on GOG Galaxy.

- Comment on Final Fantasy VII now also added to GOG's catalogue 3 months ago: Might probably get it at one point after the release of the third part of the remake. Happy to see that such a game is being preserved without DRM’s. And the fact that they added achievements is a great motivation.
- Comment on GOG's new owner says Steam is winning due to ease of use, not quality, while criticizing the platform for releasing hundreds of games daily that are "not super high quality" 5 months ago:
I’m trying to buy around 50% of my games on GOG and the other 50% on Steam.
Clearly the ease of use award goes to Steam, especially on Linux.
Gog is still okay thanks to Heroic but it is a commitment with no background downloading on Steam Deck and slow downloads.
I guess we, gamers, only have to make sure that Valve still has competition so that they can’t just turn evil.
For now, I really appreciate how Valve is supporting Linux and I appreciate how GOG understand that we want to own our games and play them forever.
- Comment on Bonjour @ gog can you explain why games that are over 10 years old ar 5 months ago:
Do you have an example of such a game? No reduction after 10 years sounds really weird.

Great then. And is it right that you don’t get a notification but you’ll only see it in your GOG account?
