Oh yeah I fully agree that no game can satisfy everyone.
It’s just that, before playing it myself, I never heard a bad thing about it so I might have expected too much out of it.
Still I enjoyed it, even if it’s not a game I’ll recommend to everyone.

Mafia Definitive Edition on Steam Deck it works well except you can’t see what button you’re supposed to press.
Once you know the controls you can just enjoy the superb atmosphere and surprizingly great gunfights!

I enjoyed Resident Evil as a teenager, then came number 4 which I played, but didn’t enjoy.
I played number 5 with a friend as it was one of the few coop games available but I didn’t like it.
When number 7 came out, everyone praised it. I hated it and decided that Resident Evil really wasn’t for me anymore despite loving number 1, 0 and Code Veronica.

Linux gaming is good enough that I would consider not getting the Playstation 6 if I didn’t have kids and didn’t want to watch basketball through the nba league pass.
I’m trying to get my kids to play with the Steam Deck, but it’s honestly still not as good as a Playstation for such a use.
Still it’s going the right way.

Why would you wish to be highly sensitive to an increase/decrease in fps.
That’s just a curse and you should be happy you don’t have it.
You can just enjoy more games with a cheaper pc/console.

People are criticizing Playstation, but I’m still really happy to have a Playstation 5 alongside my Steam Deck.
As much as I love playing old games on the deck and it has now become my main console, I’m happy to have my Playstation 5 for demanding games (mostly sim racing) and to watch blurays.
Having a powerful PC would not bring me the versatility my Steam Deck/Playstation 5/Surface Go 1 is giving me for now.
Although that might change if the Playstation 6 comes without blurays.
I don’t understand why some PC people feel the need to say consoles are useless, when it’s only to them that they would be.

How do you know if a Steam game is DRM free or not?
How do you install such games without Steam through Linux? Is it just an .exe and you click on it as I haven’t done it since probably the early 00’s?

I’m trying to buy 50% of my games on Gog because they avoir DRM and 50% on Steam because they’re great Linux supporters.
Still I can understand why Steam is ahead in terms to f sale as GOG has some progress to do.

Yeah but allowing players to have steam games would mean not recovering the money invested in subsidizing the console since there is no money made on selling them.
That only works when Xbox is only gonna be a brand and not console makers.

Steam Deck: Steam for most games because of ease of use on the Deck and what they provide to the Linux world, GOG for old games with no achievments (I’d buy more from them if they were more Linux oriented, but I also understand they can’t do everything)
Playstation 5: physical except for a few exceptions as I want to be able to resell games I don’t like

I agree about the fact that having digital games is great for just launching them without leaving your chair, but managing your digital storage space can be a bigger hassle in some cases

I’m not gonna spoil anything bit I didn’t enjoy the story.
Maybe it’s just me and I would play it again if it was a 20 hours game, but it’s too long for me to give it another chance.
I loved the ambiance and gameplay though. I think I enjoyed the first one more because the story wasn’t bad, but it has been ages…

Well it’s crazy that they’re accusing him of giving too much of his own time.
I really hope the Stop Killing Games initiative changes something as I want to own my (single player) games forever on every store (not only GOG as it’s not so Linux friendly despite the heroic games launcher).
