Just once in their life, I wish Nintendo would be cool and understand that this isn’t hurting them. There is no overlap between the sort of people who would buy games for the switch and the sort of people who emulate their games.

That’s it. In my mind, Nintendo is actually worse than Disney.

There has been enough study on the subject that for jobs that lend themselves to the work from home model, it absolutely does increase productivity.
I do think there should be an option to work in office for those who can’t work from home for personal reasons.

The institution will usually have information about how their supplementary exams work. It will usually be on their curriculum guidelines page on their website.
- Comment on Qualcomm wants to buy Intel 1 month ago:
Things don’t just become a national security asset that easily, though, a long-standing relationship with trust is something incredibly important.
- Comment on Qualcomm wants to buy Intel 1 month ago:
Good points. I guess what I should have more accurately said is that Intel has a long standing working relationship with the American government.
Given that Intel is an asset to national security. I think any sort of buyout would be under intense scrutiny from the US government.
I did miss that Qualcomm was also American though, but I still think about it would be treacherous regardless.
- Comment on Qualcomm wants to buy Intel 1 month ago:
I just don’t think, regardless of financial situation, Intel would want to put them in their post right now. Everything they’ve communicated to their shareholders and the public at large signals that despite a recent downturn, they really believe they have a strategy for long-term market dominance.

I know we’re all pretty mad at Intel right now but I really hope they do manage to recover because we’ve all seen what happens to the industry when there’s no competition.
- Comment on Paradox delay Prison Architect 2 and cancel preorders: "improving the performance has proven to be a task that will take time" 3 months ago:
Given that Double Eleven was removed From development after 9 years, it’s unsurprising that they would have some technical debt.
I just hope this is Paradox learning from the mistakes of the past, and not the game being too far gone.

- Comment on Halo on Paramount+ has been canceled after only two seasons 3 months ago:
A live-action Halo is a terrible idea, as is a live-action Avatar.
Some media is so ingrained in its spectacle that to make live action work, you’d have to spend Marvel levels of money on special effects, and why? When animation is right there.
Sure, you might be able to appeal to a larger audience, but how’s that working out for you?

- Comment on Warframe Staff Reveals Intel's 14th & 13th Gen CPUs Responsible For Instability Issues, i9-13900K Takes Up A Major Portion 4 months ago:
It just damaged mine, it was crashing all the time before I messed around and tried power limiting mine. It was about 2 weeks before it got revealed that it was a wide spread issue.
I don’t think I caught it early enough, though, because I have a lot of problems with my USB controller. It can only handle like two or three devices plugged in at a time before things stop working. But, technically, it still works, so… I think I’d have trouble making a warranty claim.
